Overview Help improve the overall performance of your ThinkCentre® and ThinkPad® systems with 1GB and 2GB PC2-5300 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM TopSeller memory upgrades. PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM enables up to six times the performance of traditional SDRAM(2). Adding additional memory is a cost-effective way to help boost your system performance and enhance your ability to run more programs simultaneously. Note: PC2-5300 and PC2-4300 memory can coexist on one system, but will operate at PC2-4300 speed.
Key prerequisites These TopSeller memory upgrades are supported on selected ThinkPad and ThinkCentre systems. Refer to the Hardware requirements section for details.

• PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM memory upgrades — The 5300 is derived from twice the memory-side bus clock frequency (333 MHz x 2; data transfers can occur on both edges of the clock) times the module data width (64 bits / 8 bits/byte = 8 bytes) = 5336, rounded to 5300. This is the maximum data rate; the units are MBps.
• Non-parity mode organized as 32M x 64, and 128M x 64 respectively. • Serial presence detect with Serial EEPROM. • 240-pin JEDEC/EIA standard UDIMM interface or 200-pin JEDEC/EIA standard SODIMM interface.
