LENOVO® THINKSERVER® ACTIVE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY 9.0
Maximize IT efficiency and lower server management costs with integrated Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT) 9.0.
Embedded in Lenovo ThinkServer single-processor servers (TS140 and TS440), Intel AMT 9.0 enables you to remotely and securely manage your servers. Powerful remote management features provide easy access to your ThinkServer helping you configure, update and monitor the system. Once configured, AMT 9.0 works independently of the operational state of the server and is accessible via a standard Ethernet network controller, as long as the server is connected to a power source. AMT 9.0 has broad industry support. As a result, your ThinkServer can be managed using common third-party management applications, including consoles used by many Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Using these third party supported management applications, AMT 9.0 provides remote keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) access to your ThinkServer system. Remote KVM provides a way to view and operate the remote ThinkServer in real-time and gives you virtual media capabilities allowing you to run local media, such as a CD-ROMs, on the remote server. Alerts can be generated to notify you of any issues — saving you time and money by reducing the need for on-site support.
