Web Server Administrator Key
Summary/Workaround
TCM-1899
Summary Gateway protocol for TIBCO BusinessConnect EDI protocol powered by Instream must not be allowed to be self-serviceable along with other EDI protocols by Trading Community Management partner users. Workaround Always disable the Gateway protocol at the host level so that TCM partner users do not have access to Gateway protocol.
TCM-1991
Summary The Gateway Instance must be restarted when the Request Timeout value is changed. The Request Timeout value is defined in Gateway Services > Transport > Advanced > Request Timeout. Workaround Restart the Gateway Instance so that the new timeout value takes
effect. TCM-2110
Summary The IT administrator must manually create users when BusinessConnect Trading Community Management User Authentication has a configuration of LDAP and if the LDAP data source itself is read-only at the LDAP configuration side (not at BusinessConnect >User Authentication Sources >LDAP is ReadOnly). Workaround None.
TCM-2071
Summary When using LDAP as user authentication source set in System Settings of BusinessConnect, the administrator must set a valid value for the system property defined in System Settings >Protocol Plug-in and Properties >BC >bc.ldap.rolebasedn.attribute depending on the LDAP type used. Not setting a value results in being unable to delete users and could lock Trading Community Management UI pages after a delete action. Workaround Always set a valid value for bc.ldap.rolebasedn.attribute.

Key
Summary/Workaround
TCM-2076
Summary When LDAP is the authentication source for Trading Community Management and when a partner is approved from the PartnerSelfService Message Queue from BusinessConnect, some LDAP exceptions (which could involve user creation) are thrown. These do not affect the functioning of the application. Workaround None.
TCM-2043
Summary When TIBCO BusinessConnect ebXML Protocol is allowed for self-service by a partner who registers, the Trading Community Management user interface displays under the General tab a Specification ID field in the unfinished configuration tab. If the user clicks this field, no screen displays. Workaround The Trading Community Management administrator must use
the Protocol Metadata Editor for ebXML Protocol and allow Specification ID to be self-serviceable. TCM-2062
Summary When users change the SelfRegSchema.xsd file or the RootElement name that are currently loaded as part of SelfRegistration request for Back Office Approval, the BusinessWorks palette discards validation. The SelfRegSchema.xsd file is a fixed XSD file with a fixed RootElement name. Workaround Users must not change the SelfRegSchema.xsd file or the RootElement name.
TCM-2157
Summary Searching a protocol name from BusinessConnect >Property Metadata Editor does not work. Workaround None.
TCM-1971
Summary When all external users for FTP Server, SSH Server, and PartnerExpress are listed in BusinessConnect Administrator, these users are also listed in the Trading Community Management UI in users tab and could be deleted. This should not be allowed since these users have additional business responsibility that the Trading Community Management super user should not interfere with. Workaround None.
TCM-2009
Summary When a large number of approval or rejects are done from BusinessConnect >Log Viewer >PartnerSelfService Message Queue, the Interior Server could run out of heap space when using the default max heap size settings. Workaround Increase the max heap size setting to more than 1 GB.

Summary/Workaround
TCM- 2101
Summary When partners are invited through a campaign and approved after the partner self-registers, changing the approval date subsequently to invite more partners would change the existing approved partner’s status to Expired on the date of the new expiry. Workaround Change the status of Expired Partner in DashBoard > Partner > View Details and change to Approved.
TCM-2098
Summary When you send an e-mail invitation to a partner to join the Trading Community Management self-service, multiple e-mails are sent to the partner with incorrect reminder days if you set the reminder days to a value lower than the expiry days. Workaround Always set expiry days to be larger than reminder days.
TCM-2156
Summary If you send an invitation to a partner user whose e-mail address is invalid, the invitation fails to go out. If you send another invitation to a valid e-mail address entered for the same partner, that invitation also fails to go out. An invalid e-mail address in the partner’s Dashboard entry causes this problem. Workaround Go to BusinessConnect >Partner Management >Dashboard and
select View Details by selecting the partner and removing the invalid e-mail entry. TCM-1166
Summary When TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 5.8.0 is installed, uninstallation of TIBCO BusinessConnect Trading Community Management requires that TIBCO BusinessConnect Services Plug-in be uninstalled as well. Workaround None.
TCM-2155
Summary Online help for links to BusinessConnect >Partner Management tabs are not available with Trading Community Management 6.0.0.0 release. Workaround The HTML and PDF documents are available on the location where the software is installed.

Summary/Workaround
TCM-2026
Summary A Trading Community Management partner user using LDAP server in read-only mode cannot save navigation bar changes. When the user logs out, the next login reverts to the original navigation bar. Workaround None.
TCM-1885
Summary When Trading Community Management uses a DB2 database for configuration and runtime data store, the New Alert count from the Trading Community Management administrator does not reflect the correct number. Workaround None.
TCM-2148
Summary A simple or advanced search of Trading Community Management
management logs throws a DB2 SQL error to the TCM partner user, if the BusinessConnect Server uses DB2 as the configuration data store. Workaround None.
TCM-2151
Summary A Trading Community Management user with read-only permission to the user interface is unable to see server certificates configured in any of the secure transports, including HTTPS, AS2_HTTPS, and FTPS. Workaround None.
TCM-1767
Summary If the same field is used with different operands in a Trading Community Management UI saved query, the results returned may be incorrect in management and audit log searches. Workaround Do not use the same field multiple times in a query with different operands and values, to avoid obtaining mutually exclusive results.
TCM-2131
Summary When Trading Community Management UI alerts are searched in the Alerts window, read messages are changed to unread messages. Workaround None.
TCM-2153
Summary When ANY is selected on status in the Trading Community
Management UI for a protocol in audit log Advanced search, the search result returns empty. Workaround Selecting a status other than ANY would narrow the results.

Summary/Workaround
TCM-2127
Summary When a partner selects a valid Encryption certificate/PGP Encryption key from Trading Community Management UI from the Doc Security > Inbound tab of a protocol, the value cannot be reset to none. Workaround Only the Trading Community Management administrator can
reset the value to none from Administrator UI. TCM-2128
Summary When a Trading Community Management host sends an alert from the Administrator UI Alert section, the partner who subscribes to alerts would get a false impression of multiple alerts being received even though they are sent only one alert. Workaround None.
