Timberwolf’s TW-3HD is the heavy duty version of the machine shown above. Built with a larger frame, this log splitter delivers 22 tons of force with a 10-second cycle time. Perfect for use on the farm or in the woodlot, this splitter can run on any tractor, 30 HP or greater, with a category 1 PTO hook-up. Standard 24” opening and available in 36” and 48” models. This machine comes standard with a 4-way wedge and will also accept our optional hydraulic log lift, 6-way wedge, table grate, and hydraulic wedge lift.

TheTW-5 is Timberwolf’s most popular commercial log splitter. Its reliability, fast cycle time and powerful push-block make it the choice for hard-core firewood producers. Options include a hydraulic log lift, 6-way wedge and table grate. They not only ease back strain, but greatly increase production. The 6-way wedge significantly increases yield and the table grate holds the split logs at splitter height for stacking or convenient loading onto a conveyor. Timberwolf Conveyors Timberwolf fills an important position in the conveyor market with the C12 (12 ft.), C20 (20 ft.), C24 (24 ft.), and C26 (26 ft.). A heavy-duty steel frame supports 18” wide two-ply polyester Rough Top™ belting (1” T-cleats are optional). The hydraulic top drum drive gives operators greater convenience—simply stop and back up the conveyor belt for easy handling or larger chunks that need re-splitting. For our wood processors we have an all-steel firewood conveyor, the C30, which comes standard with a hydraulic top drive and hydraulic lift. The wood is pulled up the steel trough by 1” square steel cleats attached to the drive chain. All of these commercial-grade firewood conveyors come standard with the reliable Honda engine. They can also be powered by your firewood processor’s hydraulic system.

splitters take a lot of the hard work out of splitting firewood, but it can still be tough on your body...especially your back. From the beginning, Timberwolf set out to design and produce a log splitter that was not only very productive, but was as easy on the body as possible. The result? Our “Back Saver” package. The Back Saver package consists of 3 optional accessories—a multi-wedge (4 or 6-way depending on your machine), a log lift (manual or hydraulic) and a table grate. Let’s face it, unless you split wood for the sheer excercise factor, you want to get that wood split and stacked as quickly as possible. And if you’re splitting wood to sell, it just makes sense to be as productive as you can. With these three accessories, you can increase your production and speed tremendously. You’ll find they pay for themselves many times over the life of your log splitter. All three accessories are fabricated and welded by hand in our factory, with our exclusive powder coating to minimize rusting and damage.

A lot of people ask us how far off the ground our splitters are, and then the next question is “Can it fit in a pickup?”. Most most of them will fit between the wheel wells of a standard pickup. There are some exceptions—The TW-6 and TW-10 will not fit in a pickup...they’re just too big.
