Video Quality The H-264 compression algorithm (or MPEG4 Part 10), AVC (Advanced Video Coding) as Illustrated (right) is 3-4 times more efficient than even MPEG4 (Level6). Smaller files sizes improve LAN transmission rates/storage requirements. The Titan utilises Texas Instruments TMS320 600MHz DSP Hardware - permitting live (25fps PAL) recording and playback on all channels from 8-48 channels per system. Quality is not compromised, comparing the same bit stream rate between competing compression technologies.

Scalability Designed with scalability the system can have unlimited video/audio inputs, combined with input/ output devices which sit on the RS485 bus with the PTZ/Dome devices. This is due to the Client / Server / Machine architecture which can be distributed (one server managing many machines) or all operating on the one DVR as a stand alone unit. Robust The ‘ DVROS’ System is based upon a robust embedded Windows XP platform and operates as a ‘locked-down’ system running auto-run services. The server class hardware is specifically selected for its reliability. Operability After extensive research, analysing our competitors and feedback from our customer we have produced an efficient and easy-to-use client interface. Drag and drop any camera to any position - of many different layouts. Rotate user defined layouts automatically by time. Double click to fill screen with one camera. Click full-screen button to lose controls - all video only. Control PTZ by control buttons or interactively on the screen itself - the PTZ will follow the position of the mouse
Select any camera with the floating time line - different colours indicate motion detection. For Quick Preview - Double Click a selection to view a ‘mini video’. Select the same camera, different times, multiple camera synchronised together. Change the time scale easily to see anything from 10minutes to 1 year views. Right Click any text selection to enter time by keyboard. Click DVD/USB icon to copy files
Playback up to 4 selections together, drag and drop, fast/slow speed - skip forwards and backwards and pause functions. Take snapshots during playback to then print directly to an XP based USB Printer (low cost printing) or burn stills to DVD/USB. Ability to go full screen. Click DVD/USB icon to copy files

Advanced Search Features Instant One Click Playback Very powerful, drag over last 10 minute activity indicator, then instant playback of that camera. Automatic Search
Motion search applied to a selection - white overlay shows where motion has occurred. User can then define his own search area, for example, where a bag was removed - and only those target video clips - with 5 seconds prerecord will be filtered
Set Up Within the multi-user environment - features such as digital magnifier, privacy masks, mosaic privacy masks, motion detection masks, OSD, Audio and Dual Mode Recording are easily controlled. One rate of FPS / Quality for full time, then changing to another rate / quality during and after (post recording) motion (alarm input) events. Remote Client System Available as a high performance review station, complete with DSP decoding hardware. Pre-configured as XP Embedded with the client application loaded.
