Evolution of existing Harmony software
ABB Harmony Life Cycle In April 2011, ABB reaffirmed their commitment to the Harmony product line with the announcement of the Symphony Plus Distributed Control System (DCS). Symphony™ Plus is the latest generation of ABB’s existing Network 90, INFI 90, and Harmony system. This introduction represents new products that will function with your existing system through ABB’s evolution without obsolescence approach. §
§
Evolution without Obsolescence §
ABB will not remove a product from Active sale until a compatible, equivalent or superior product is available.
§
After a product is removed from Active sale, it will be supported for at least 10 years.
Life Cycle Commitment §
Support for the ABB Harmony product line is indefinite.
§
Actively investing in new technologies with new features and functionalities for the Harmony system.

S+ Operations 2.0 Aspect link: ShiftBook and electronic shift log ShiftBook and electronic shift log are alternatives to “paper” shift logs. Together with SAP PM CMMS integration, these features reduce the plant’s maintenance costs by streamlining operation and maintenance work processes.
Shift changes are automatically or manually noted in the operator shift log.
Shift ending open work actions are passed to the next shift via the ToDo list (covers all shifts)
