Now even faster: bestseller thermal printer TM-T88III from EPSON EPSON's high-speed thermal receipt printer is the successor to the powerful and popular TM-T88II. It unites all the benefits of its predecessor while at the same time greatly outspeeding it. Thanks to an internal memory with 256 KB capacity, the TM-T88III can also print company logos and special offers reliably in next to no time. At 150 mm or 47 lines per second and up to 38400 bps transmission speed, the new thermal printer from EPSON saves precious time at the POS, thus doing away with unnecessary and unpopular waiting time for customers. This also applies to roll changing. It takes just three steps to insert the new paper roll quickly and easily, using the tried and tested “drop-in” method: open the printer, insert the paper roll, close the printer. This simple procedure not only simplifies the cashier’s job, it also cuts the training period of the staff to a minimum. A typical EPSON invention.

More than 2 million installations Like all thermal printers, the TM-T88III is extremely quiet and produces excellent printing results. The newcomer prints both vertical and horizontal bar codes in high-resolution quality, thus producing top results with bar code scanners and avoiding scanning errors. With a printing output of 52 million lines or 360,000 hours, the TMT88III offers maximum reliability and reduces printer-related cash register downtime to a minimum. A great bonus is also its onehundred-per-cent compatibility with the TM-T88II. Installation of the new thermal printer requires neither a complicated and costly software update nor any other technical modifications. The TM-T88III can simply be plugged in where the predecessor model used to be. The new thermal printer from EPSON features as standards a removable PC interface and an interface for the automatic opening of one to two cash drawers. Attached is also the power supply PS-180 as factory option. In total the TM-T88 series is proved in more than 2 million installations since its launch to the market. In Germany for example the printers can be found in each subsidiary of the the Deutsche Post AG and many famous discounters and retailers.
