TMAS G 120 / G100-RF / G80 Multifunctional Access and Security Terminal Electronic identification unit for:
Attendance control Production control Access control Canteen management Car park management Self-service counter
The identification of an employee or of a process can be done using:
A magnetic badge An RFID card read from a distance A bar code Manually keying a code into the keyboard Biometric identification
G120
G80
The data of each and every transaction is controlled, saved and protected. They can be transferred to a computer via ON-LINE or OFF-LINE, direct, telematic or Ethernet connection.
Tmas comes with a keyboard which allows to link a function to every identification (ex. Canteen meal selection, connecting to a computer to query the database, production advancement notification), and to confirm the transaction either by printout or output on the display.
Tmas can furthermore pilot systems that operate in basis of a schedule or of an identification (ex. bell, turnstiles, bars).
An innovative function in respect to previous generations of clock terminals is the possibility to include biometric fingerprint identification. Fingerprints are unambiguous, irreplaceable and difficult to reproduce or to forget. Therefore they allow a much more secure control as the system is not based on something “one knows” (pin number, code, password) or something “one has” (keys, badge, smart card), but on “who one is”.
The Tmas terminal fully respects the legislative decree n°196/03 which regulates the use of biometric identification in respect of privacy laws.

Tmas E100
Tmas E100 is the new interactive multifunction terminal of the TMAS product line. It has been designed to be a valuable tool in applications where the interaction between employees and the company’s information system takes place without a personal computer. The Tmas E100 terminal has an electronic unit with a large touch screen display with colour graphics, specifically designed to assist the user in autonomous and intuitive interaction with the system, providing a wide range of information. Numerous sophisticated applications can be managed with the new terminal, such as personnel access control and presence surveyor, or any other application that requires a high level of interaction. The Personnel Dept. can receive queries and provide information through the Tmas E100 terminal, such as e-mail messages and monthly attendance reports. Tmas E100 has been programmed in C/C++ to maximize customization possibilities. Additional services and applications not otherwise available in the standard version can be developed and integrated into the Tmas E100.

Operating functionalities TmaxE100
Simple and intuitive user interface. Text To Speech of all the functional statuses of the terminal. Tmas E100 can be programmed so that all system messages, functional statuses, codes and badge user name and surname be given in TTS. This function allows visually handicapped employees to utilize the terminal. Internal database to record all transactions and all settings of Tmas E100. The database can be easily retrieved from the terminal in order to carry out recovery or data update operations from an offline
PC, such as export of clock-in / clock-out data, import of new personal name, update of authorization lists, etc. Tmas E100 is equipped with an internal database, able to store a vast amount of attendance records. Data acquisition can be performed selecting the badge number and/or time interval. Possibility to re-acquire the records that have been downloaded from the terminal, but that are still stored in the terminal’s internal database. Can access the monthly attendance report in PDF format through an FTP connection, where made possible by the attendance control software. Monthly attendance report can be saved onto a USB pen drive. Transactions can be saved onto a USB pen drive. Selection and user guide for up to 100 operating Codes. View latest attendance records. View personal and/or group service messages. The Personnel Dept. can send messages to the Tmas E100 terminal which will in turn be forwarded to all relevant employees following the acquisition of the next attendance record. A maximum of two messages are allowed per individual or of two for a complete employee mailing list. These messages are stored in easily accesses personal mail-boxes. A digital photo of the employee will appear on the display at every badge swipe with a TTS audio message of the employee’s name. Management of “Black/White List” authorization lists. Display can be customized with the company’s logo, using a jpeg file. Badges can be programmed with an RFID ISO14443A MIFARE proximity reader in the management section of the Tmas E100 terminal. Connection of a serial printer (optional). Software update via FTP.
