Switches between [Normal Time Mode], [Month/Day/Date Mode] and [Alarm Time Mode]. In Setting Mode, changes the setting value.
SET button:
Press and hold for 2 seconds to enter the [Time Setting Mode]. In Normal Time Mode, Switches ALARM function ON/OFF.
SNOOZE/LIGHT button: In [Normal] Time Mode, press it once to stop current Alarm, Press to turn on the back light for 5 seconds and activate the Snooze function. RESET button:
In case of mal-function, use a pin to press the reset key to restart the clock again.

• The clock will then begin to search for the radio time signal to update the time. This typically takes between 6-12 minutes in good conditions. If after eight minutes the signal has not been received, we recommend that you set the time manually. (See Setting the Time Manually page 3). After the first time signal is received, the clock will automatically search for the time signal at 2:00AM, 8:00AM, 2:00PM and 8:00PM, and will continue to do so each day.
TO TURN THE ALARM ON/OFF AND SNOOZE FUNCTION
Note: If there is no display on the LCD after inserting the battery, try to replace with a new battery or press “RESET” button key by using a pin (see Function Keys). In some cases, you may not receive a signal immediately. Due to atmospheric disturbances, the best reception often occurs during nighttime (refer to Important note page 4)
3. When the alarm is sound, press “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button to stop the current Alarm, the backlight will come on for 5 seconds and activated the Snooze function.
SIGNAL STRENGTH INDICATOR The signal indicator displays signal strength in 3 levels. Wave segment flashing means time signals is being received. The signal quality could be classified types:

Note: 1. When the Snooze function is activated, the 4-step crescendo alarm will automatically start again after 5 minutes. The Alarm duration is 120 seconds. The “Zz” icon will keep flashing during the whole Alarm and Snooze period. 2. When the Alarm sounds, press the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button to stop the bell ringing and activate the Snooze function, press the “SET” button to stop and turn “OFF” the Alarm and Snooze. 3. The Alarm sound will be stop after 2 minute without pressing any key. MANUALLY SETTING THE TIME AND DATE
If the RC clock receives time signal successfully, a Sync-time symbol appears on LCD. Note: 1. You may use the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button for 3 seconds to receive the time signal manually. Be caution of using the [manual receiving mode] as this consumes more battery power that may reduce battery lifetime. The [receive mode] will be off automatically after 6-12 minutes. 2. Under the environment with radio frequency interference, the unit might not maintain communication link and resume to normal when interference stops. SETTING THE ALARM

1. In the Normal Time Display, press “MODE” button once to enter the [Alarm Time Mode]. 2. Hold the “SET” button for 2 seconds until HOUR digit starts to flash. 3. Press “MODE” button to change the alarm hour value. 4. Press the “SET” button again and the minute digit will flash. 5. Press “MODE” button to change the alarm minute value. Press “SET” button to exit the setting mode. 6. Note: The alarm will be automatically activated after setting the alarm time.
If you are out of the reach of the Radio Controlled Transmitter and the time signal is weak, the time can be set manually. As soon as the time Signal is received again, the clock will automatically adjust to the Radio Controlled Time. 1. Press “SET” button again and the 12/24 HR digit will flash 7. Press the “MODE” button to switch between 12/24 HR format. 8. Press “SET” button again and the year digit will flash 9. Press the “MODE” button to change the value of the flashing digit. 10. Press “SET” button again and the month digit will flash. 11. Press the “MODE” button to change the value of the flashing digit. 12. Press “SET” button again and the date digit will flash 13. Press “SET” key to exit the setting mode.

INSTALLING OR REPLACING THE BATTERIES When the LCD becomes dim, replace with a new AAA battery at once. Pay attention to the battery polarity. 1. Open the battery cover by slightly turning the knob. 2. Insert one new AAA size battery as per indication marked in the battery door. 3. Close the battery cover. 4. When the battery is inserted, all the segments of the display will be shown briefly before entering the radio controlled time reception mode. 5. The RC Clock will automatically start scanning for the radio controlled time signal after 15 seconds. Note: Attention! Please dispose of used unit and batteries in an ecologically safe manner. IMPORTANT NOTE: For best reception, please read the following instructions: 1. This sophisticated instrument will automatically receive the time signal transmited. 2. It is strongly recommended to start this clock at nighttime and let the clock to receive the signal automatically during midnight. 3. Always place the unit away from interfering sources such as TV set, computer, etc… 4. Avoid placing the unit on or next to metal plate. 5. Closed area such as airport, basement, tower block, or factory is not recommended. 6. Do not start reception in a moving article such as vehicle or train.

In the Manual Set Mode, the clock has been pre-programmed to automatically switch when daylight savings time is in effect. Your clock will show “DST” on the display during this time. Please note: With the pre-programmed DST feature, if you live in an area where Daylight Savings Time is not observed, the time display on your clock will read +/- one hour during the DST time period.
