Installation Instructions for 980TOPWCF Top Wall (Compact Fluorescent) PW2930FR_13Q 1.4 Wall GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION: This product is suitable for damp locations. This product can mount to either a 4" square electrical box with round plaster ring or an octagon electrical box. CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved. Use minimum 90°c supply conductors. Install the Fixture 1A 1B REAR CROSSBAR 2 #8-32 SCREW 1 5 1 3 #8-32 SCREW 6 4 FRONT CROSSBAR ELECTRICAL BOX HOLE NOTE: To mount the crossbar assembly: Use the front crossbar with an electrical box containing a plaster ring; Use the rear crossbar with an octagonal electrical box. 1 Mount the crossbar assembly to the electrical box holes with the two #8-32 screws provided. 2 Connect the crossbar to a suitable ground according to local electrical codes. 3 Connect the white fixture wire to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut. 4 Connect the black fixture wire to the hot power line wire with a wire nut. 1 5 Place all wires and wire nut connections properly inside the electrical box. 6 Place the fixture canopy onto the crossbar assembly. Level the fixture vertically; replace and tighten the two #8-32 Phillips head screws. Install the Lamp & Shade 2A 2B LAMP GLASS SHADE 1 1 SOCKET 2 SOCKET HOUSING Use MAX 13 Watt Type Twin Tube 2GX7 Base Compact Fluorescent Lamp. 2 1 Place the glass shade into the socket housing. Push the lamp pins completely into the socket holes.
