Each model is able to transmit signals 1,000 feet (300 meters) or more over any CAT 5, 5e, or 6 twisted pair cable or with Extron Enhanced Skew-Free™ A/V UTP cable. The standard TP T 460 models fit snugly into a two-gang wall box while the TP T 460 EC models mount in European Cable Channel. • Output: Female RJ-45 connectors • Transmits signals to a TP R Series receiver • Compatible with VGA-UXGA, Mac, Sun®, and SGI computers • Transmits signals 1,000 feet (300 meters) or more over a single Category 5, 5e, or 6 UTP cable • Buffered local monitor output • Horizontal shift control • LED power indicator on front panel • External international power supply included, part # 70-057-01 The TP T 460 transmitter accepts signals with a 15-130 kHz horizontal scan rate and a 30-150 Hz vertical scan rate. It is compatible with nearly every computer and signal type, including VGA-UXGA, Mac, Sun®, and SGI. Both of the TP T 460 features ID bit termination on pins 4 and 11 of its 15-pin HD inputs, ensuring that computers requiring local monitors will operate correctly if no monitor is installed. Output connection is on female RJ-45 connectors. When using data grade twisted pair cable for sending high-resolution video signals long distances, a problem called skew can cause a distortion in the image, resulting in visible color separation. Extron offers two options for solving this problem and restoring image quality. The first option is to place an SEQ 100 15HD Skew Equalizer at the receiving end of any cable run where skew is a problem. The second option is to use Extron's Enhanced Skew-Free™ A/V UTP cable to make system connections. The design of the TP T 460 combines shallow depth with wall mounting for easy installation. Horizontal shift capability allows for centering the displayed image.
