INTENDED USE — Use in high-mounting heights that require high efficiencies, horizontal illumination, premium contrast control and higher thermal performance. Ideal for heavy manufacturing areas, retail and warehouse aisles. Attributes: Highly efficient optical consist of vertically-aligned, prismatic, high-clarity borosilicate glass reflector/refractor sealed within an anodized aluminum shroud. The high-grade aluminum shroud is designed to provide downward distributions while the inner glass softens lamp glare. Designed for optimum efficiencies and a balance of uplight and downward distributions. CONSTRUCTION — Housing: Vertically seamed, heavy-duty, die-cast aluminum halves. Ballast and electrical components are heat-sinked and horizontally opposed. Integral splice box mounting flange ensures structural integrity. Finish: Electrostatically applied white polyester powder paint. OPTICS — 16" diameter heat-resistant borosilicate glass reflector/refractor. Optical/socket position is factory preset. The glass reflector/refractor is available sealed within a heavy-gauge, anodized, spun aluminum shroud. Reflector mounting bracket is die-formed of 14-gauge plated steel with integral locking brackets. ELECTRICAL — Ballast: All ballasts are 100% factory tested. High Pressure Sodium: Constant wattage autotransformer; Metal Halide: D.O.E 2017 and EISA 2017 compliant Pulse Start, Super Constant Wattage Autotransformer. All US shipments must order SCWA option. CSA, NOM or INTL required for probe start shipments outside the US. Socket: Vertically oriented mogul base PROTECTED EXCLUSIONARY base “PINK” socket with copper alloy nickel plated screw shell and center contact. For use with “O” rated protected metal halide lamps only. INSTALLATION — Pendant splice box: Cast-aluminum with white polyester powder finish. Removable box slides on integral die-cast aluminum housing mounting flange and mounts to 3/4” pendant conduit prior to ballast housing installation. Matching wire access cover accepts RELOC® modular wiring. Complete assembly meets or exceeds UL 50-pounds pull test. Optical mounting: Reflector mounting brackets are die-formed 14-gauge, corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated steel with integral locking brackets. LISTINGS — UL Listed to US and Canadian safety standards. NOM certified. UL Listed for damp locations. Ambient operation -30° to 55°C (65° available).
