The TRACSYSTEMS ADDVALUE STATION, AVS II, is a self-service networked card dispenser and/or card re-valuator that plugs into a standard network outlet to communicate with your central accounting database. Users may create accounts or add money to existing accounts using the simple color touch screen instructions. The optional card dispenser is available to issue new cards to public or guest users. The AVS II can be configured to use any type of account card, including barcode, magnetic stripe, proximity, and smart cards. After authentication, the user can choose to add funds via cash, the optional coin acceptor, the optional credit card swipe reader or from an existing online account such as Blackboard™ or Cbord™.
AVS II FEATURES: EASE OF USE - A built-in color touch screen and clean user interface makes the device user friendly. FLEXIBILITY - Accepts multiple input options including existing barcodes, magnetic cards, smart cards, and proximity cards, or Active Directory / LDAP accounts using an optional onscreen alpha-numeric keyboard. REPORTS - All transactions are stored and can be reported on. The optional receipt printer can be added for credit card or cash transactions. EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS - AVSII emails accounting reports after cash pick ups SECURITY - Metal case is constructed from 14 gauge steel. Dual 7 pin tumbler locks with a through frame design deters vandalism and prevents theft. EXPANDABLE - The modular design of the AVS II allows you to choose what features you wish to implement.

Upgraded Features of the AVS II MODULAR COMPONENTS - AVSII can be equipped with the features you require, i.e. thermal printer, card dispenser, coin op, bill accepter, swipe reader or barcode scanner. All internal wiring and connections are done with secure Lock & Mate connectors for easy removal of modules.
EMAIL – The AVSII can email money collection reports directly to accounting staff, bypassing the need to print reports and transport them with the collections. Also, if there is a problem with a card purchase, the unit will automatically alert staff via email
EASY REPAIRS/SAVE SHIPPING COSTS – Individual modules can be replaced or the whole door can be easily removed from unit for repairs or maintenance. Each module can be easily removed with minimum usage of tools thanks to the secure lock and mate connectors so you can remove the single module and send it for repairs rather than having to ship the whole unit.

SECURITY – The AVSII has upgraded reinforced steel locks for extra protection, eliminating risk of theft or break-ins. THERMAL PRINTING – The AVSII is equipped with receipt and report printing capabilities using thermal printing technology reducing the need for maintaining or changing print ribbons. SPEED – The AVSII has a faster processor reducing response times.
NUMERIC KEYPAD – in addition to the swipe reader, students can type in their ID if they do not have their card available using the new numeric keypad CREDIT CARDS - Capable of credit card processing using a PCI encrypted reader UPGRADED COIN OP – Features “totalizer” mode, so users can insert all of their coins continuously and the unit will calculate the total quickly and accurately. BILL ACCEPTOR – The new bill acceptor features solid state electronics for dependability, increased security and easier maintenance
