The TRx2153A is an active 2500W, X-Drive DSP processed Loudspeaker, designed to control and throw mids and highs further with its horn loaded 8-inch mid section. The TRx2153A works as a stand alone full range system or for larger reinforcement coupled with our TRx2118B for a four way extended low frequency system. Effective for both permanent and portable applications, it comes with handles, rubber footpads, and 12 fly points. Description The TRx2153A is our finest active 3-way enclosure featuring a trapezoidal design with a 80x50 high and mid frequency medium throw horn loading. The TRx2153A is used for front of house mains and stage side fills. The trapezoid design allow several boxes to be clustered together for wider coverage and more SPL output. The TRx2153A features a 15-inch cast driver, 8-inch midrange, and 1.4-inch exit titanium 2.5-inch Voice coil HF driver delivering exceptional sound especially for drums and vocals. There are 12 fly points for overhead suspension. The enclosure is constructed of CNC machined 13-Ply Premium Russian Baltic Birch with heavy gauge steel powder coated front grills. The amp module features X-Drive™ DSP processing and bullet-proof DCM power amp technology using FR4 double sided circuit boards in a fan ventilated, internally sealed aluminum structure for solid construction and durability. The TRX2153A will provide the best sonic details in the highs, mids, and low frequencies.

Rear Control Panel The 2500W TRx2153A active module features Input and Thru balanced XLR connectors, Input volume level, terminal block Remote Level/Mute Control, and Input and Thru locking IEC AC power connectors. The EQ MODE switch selects NORMAL, ENHANCED, or MONITOR modes. NORMAL EQ mode is a flat setting best for straight live sound. ENHANCED EQ mode is a club or dance playback setting with a minor mid cut and minor bass bump over the flat setting. MONITOR EQ Mode is designed for stage monitoring or when coupling two cabinets together to keep the bass frequencies and microphones under control. Use MONITOR mode when using the TRx2153A for side fills or in very small venues. The BASS switch selects the bass mode with NORMAL, DYNAMIC EXTENSION, or EXTERNAL SUB. The Bass NORMAL mode does not change the bass setting. The DYNAMIC EXTENSION Bass mode extends the low frequency response another 15Hz with a boost in the 35-50Hz range. The EXTERNAL SUB Bass mode rolls off the cabinet at 85Hz, so an external subwoofer can be used.
