TO INSTALL BATTERY AND START CLOCK: 1. Remove the protective film cover from the clock’s display. 2. Remove the battery cover: Open the battery compartment cover by pressing in the tab and lifting the cover up and out . 3. Insert two (2) AAA size batteries into the battery compartment with the top (+) end of the battery matching up with the (+) polarity indicated on the diagram in the battery compartment. 4. Replace battery cover by lining up the two pins on the top of the battery cover into the two grooves located within the opened battery compartment and push the battery cover down until it snaps into place.
TO SET TIME: 1. Open the front cover. 2. Push the selector to TIME SET. 3. Press HOUR to increase the hour digits and MIN to increase the minute digits. Holding down either button changes settings at a high speed. 4. Return the selector to NORMAL after you set the time. TO SET ALARM: 1. Open the front cover. 2. Turn the selector to ALARM SET. The current alarm setting and an ALARM BELL INSIGNIA sign appears on display. 3. Press HOUR to set the hour and MIN to set the minute. Holding down either button changes settings at a high speed.
4. Return the selector to NORMAL after you set the alarm time and the alarm bell insignia will disappear. 5. To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM selector to ALARM ON. The alarm insignia will appear. 6. To view the current alarm time setting ensure the selector is at NORMAL and press either HOUR or MIN. 7. To test alarm turn the selector to NORMAL and press HOUR and MIN at the same time. NOTE: This Alarm Clock has progressively faster sounding and penetrating alarms. TO STOP THE ALARM: When the alarm sounds, slide the ALARM Switch to the ALARM OFF position to deactivate the alarm.
TO USE THE SNOOZE FUNCTION: When the alarm sounds, push the SNOOZE/LIGHT button located on top of the clock and the alarm will become silent for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, the alarm will sound again. This snooze function can be performed as often as desired. TO TURN ON THE BACK DISPLAY LIGHT: To easily read the time in the dark, push and hold the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The display will remain illuminated until the SNOOZE/LIGHT button is released.

Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for 12 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials.
