Our new TSx series combines new generation driver technologies with a truly functional, yet appealing, curvilinear design aesthetic, all the while adhering to one of the series’ most important design goals: high performance audio for disciplined budgets. Music and movie lovers alike can enjoy the Polk sound for very reasonable prices. Using the high performance TSi Series as a starting point, TSx offers new voicing, with an accurate reproduction of high frequencies so critical to the uncompressed high-resolution sound of today’s Bluray discs. TSx also delivers improved imaging, bigger, richer bass, better detail and greater sensitivity. And because these speakers were designed for the budget conscious, TSx was also designed to be highly efficient. That means every loudspeaker in the series can be driven easily by moderately priced receivers. TSx loudspeakers are voice-matched to create lifelike surround sound environments. The new Series’ contemporary look was inspired by our awardwinning RTiA Series and complements today’s most stylish televisions and electronic components.

• Curvilinear cabinet design creates a stronger, more rigid and acoustically inert enclosure; the elegantly curved side panels, which create non-parallel surfaces, reduce standing waves for less audible coloration. • 1" (25mm) silk/polymer composite Dynamic Balance® dome tweeters with powerful Neodymium magnet structure delivers clear and detailed high frequency response for realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments. • Dynamic Balance bi-laminate composite bass/mid-range drivers with long-throw butyl rubber surrounds, motor structures of a pound or more, large polyamide voice coils and high temperature aramid fiber spiders. Together, these design elements create high performance high-efficient drivers reproduce sound with exceptionally low distortion and better linearity. • Power flare port—a critically tuned internal flanged port which gradually reduces the airflow velocity around the edge of the “flare.” This reduces turbulence and “chuffing” noise—which in turn increases efficiency and improves the quantity and quality of the bass. Improved airflow and lower distortion result in deep, high-impact and natural low-frequency response. • Front firing ports on the tower loudspeakers makes them less sensitive to room placement, so you can place them closer to a wall. • Klipple Optimized motor structure was created by employing a laser and sophisticated software to do large scale analysis of TSx drivers in motion. Klipple analysis enables us to optimize the motor structure, voice coil alignment and suspension to yield the best possible performance. • Vented voice coil creates greater reliability as it enables high power handling. • Reversible design center channel cabinet can be turned upside down to aim “up” when placed under a video monitor. • Non-resonant all-MDF enclosure construction with 3/4" thick baffles (towers) ensures cleaner, clearer, more lifelike sound quality. Tower models use additional frontto-back and side-to-side internal bracing. • Computer modeled anti-diffraction grilles. • Dual five-way binding posts (towers) for more secure hook-up options, and bi-wiring and bi-amping flexibility. • High efficiency design enables the TSx Series to produce the classic Polk sound (open, spacious and clear) even when driven by modestly-powered amplifiers and receivers.
