THE TRATEC CONNECTIVITY BOX The Tratec Connectivity box offers very flexible solutions to extend the network e.g. with a cable modem. In case the insertion losses of the in-house network are too high, simply disconnect the loop and connect a suitable home amplifier between the radio and TV output and radio and TV input (refer to drawing). The connectivity box is installed at the beginning of the in-house network. From there, RF signals are transported via the coaxial cables to the wall outlets and cable modem. The connectivity box offers solutions for many of your problems: !
The connectivity box prevents interference between the TV and the modem due to the high isolation between the radio and TV output and the return path connection

The connectivity box prevents loss of return path signal due to the low insertion loss for the cable modem signals
!
Too high insertion losses in the in-house network are corrected by connecting a home amplifier externally so that the input signals can be amplified
