Frequently Asked Questions TX7104 Mini AlphaMop™
1) How do the Mini AlphaMop™ (TX7104) and the AlphaMop™ (TX7108) differ? The Mini AlphaMop is smaller (4" x 7" vs 8" x 15") and does not have a polyester pad. The Mini AlphaMop has a telescoping handle (2' 5" to 4' 5"), whereas the AlphaMop has a regular non-collapsing handle (4' 6"). 2) Are refill mop covers available? Refill mop covers are available as TX7114. There are 150 mop covers/case (25 mop covers/inner bag, 6 inner bags/case). 3) Are the mop covers cleanroom compatible? The mop covers for the Mini AlphaMop are made of AlphaWipe®, double-knit 100% continuous-filament polyester, the same material used in the AlphaMop mop covers. The knitted spandex elastic is sewn on with nylon monofilament thread. The covers are cleanroom laundered and double-bagged. 4) Can TX7104 be autoclaved or gamma irradiated? No. The mop covers (polyester) and the telescoping handle (plastic-covered rolled steel) can be autoclaved and/or gamma irradiated, but not the mop head itself. 5) What is so special about the Mini AlphaMop? ■ Low profile mop head with a swivel head design ■ Able to fit into hard-to-access areas ■ Strong and lightweight ■ Can be used with one hand ■ No exposed seams in the mop cover ■ Telescoping handle allows entry into tight areas
