Application Note KAP-10115 (Ver. 1.0) April 21, 2011 UDR-40S-DV Dual Channel Function Keywords Dual Channel Dual Link Introduction The UDR-40S-DV has the Dual Channel I/O function. The Dual Channel function of the UDR-40S-DV has a capability in which the data exchange can be performed by using one Dual Link DVI cable, instead of the equivalent capability of using two Single Link cables. Through the use of the Dual Channel function, Record/Play for 120-Hz Full HD or two viewing surfaces of Full HD 60P now can be realized easily. Since the UDR-40S-DV has Dual Channel I/O of four channels, this model enables Record/Play by a single cable for 4K120Hz. Configuration The illustration below shows the concept that the UDR-40-DV outputs under the Dual Channel Mode. Single Link 8bitRGB Output equivalent to two screens.
