It works with either dual-link or single-link digital DVI connections supporting up to dual-link resolutions. Simply connect the DisplayPort or Mini-DisplayPort end of the connector to your computer and plug your existing DVI cable from the display into the adapter. The built-in USB cable connects to your PC’s USB port providing power to the adapter. Set-up is complete. The circuitry built-into the adapter seamlessly converts the DisplayPort’s video signal into a DVI high-resolution digital video signal. The adapters work with both DPCP (DisplayPort Content Protection) and HDCP (High-Definition Content Protection) ensuring successful transmission of all video content.
