PAGE: 7 OF 10 Boot Start Condition The eUPS-350 can start if the AC mains input is not less than 85% OR Battery is not connected and the minimum loading of +5V is not less than 2A, and +12V is not less than 0.3A. For most applications, the ON/OFF logic is in compliance with ATX 12V. If the customer needs some different function such as Shut Down and Restart, we can consider modifying the product to the customer’s unique requirements. 7. Battery The one set of battery kit consists of two maintenance free sealed lead acid (12V/ 2.5 Ah) batteries connecting in series. Other types of batteries such as Car Batteries can also be used. The backup time is proportional to the capacity of the battery. Note: The battery kit is NOT an internal part of the eUPS-350 and is sold separately. 7.1. Battery Discharge Voltage 28V~20V 7.2. Battery Discharge Current Less then or equal to 28A 7.3. Battery Low warning signal When the battery voltage drops lower than 22V (±0.4Vdc), a critical beeping audio signal will sound. 7.4. Max Charging Voltage 28V 7.5. Charging Current 0.004A – 0.5A 7.6. Leakage Current Less then or equal to 0.1 mA 7.7. Recharge time 8 hours at room temperature (25℃) to replenish 50% charge. > 16 hours at room temperature (25℃) to replenish 90% charge. POWER SUPPLY MODEL eUPS-350 SPECIFICATION 7.8. PAGE: 8 OF 10 Backup time (24V/3.5Ah package in 5.25” bay) Typical Load*: 3 -15 Minutes * The typical load includes a Pentium 4 / 1700 Mhz system with 256MB RAM, 1 floppy disk drive, 1 SVGA card, 1 LAN card, 1 modem/Fax card, 2 Hard Disk drives, 1 CD ROM drive and a 15" SVGA monitor. Test conditions: At room temperature (25℃) with fully charged battery. A battery will be defined as fully charged after spending two discharge/charge cycles (per cycle over 16 hours). 8. Transfer Time Backup Transfer Time: 0 ms for Vdc out to PC Main unit. Transfer time for AC loading (Monitor) when AC fail: Typically under 8 ~ 18ms. 9. Total Efficiency (typical) Normal Mode: >68% Backup Mode: >62% with fully charged batteries. 10. Environmental The eUPS-350 is capable of withstanding the following: 10.1. Temperature range Operating: ............. 10℃ to 45℃ Storage: ................ -20℃ to 55℃ Storage Duration: Max 6 months with battery (battery needs to be recharged if stored over 6 months). When the battery is operated in temperatures lower than or equal to 10℃, the back up time will be shorter than when it is operating at 20℃. 10.2. Humidity: Operating: ..............85% non-condensing Storage: .................95% non-condensing 10.3. Altitude Operating: ..............Up to 2000 meters (max) Storage: .................Up to 4000 meters (max) POWER SUPPLY MODEL eUPS-350 SPECIFICATION 11. 11.1.
