The Universal Docking Station allows the user to connect parallel, serial, Ethernet and USB 2.0 devices to his notebook or PC. The VGA pass-through feature makes connecting all peripherals easy and convenient. The user can leave each device attached to the Docking Station, remove the Notebook computer for travel; then, when he returns, he just plugs in the docking station and instantly connects all devices back to the notebook. Also, for customers using a stationary PC and a notebook computer for mobile use, switching all peripherals between the PC and the notebook has never been easier. The Universal Docking Station provides three USB 2.0 ports, one parallel port, one RS 232 serial port, one 10BaseT/100Base-T Ethernet port, PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse and VGA pass-through. An external power supply unit is provided as well as a USB/VGA cable.
USB 2.0 compliant (backwards compatible to USB 1.1) Three USB type A downstream ports One USB 2.0 upstream port (common use with VGA in connector) VGA pass through Y-cable for VGA/USB in RJ 45 connector for built-in 10/100 Mbps Fast-Ethernet supporting IEEE 802.3 x flow control function for 100 Base-TX and 10 Base T
Standard IEEE 1284 bi-directional parallel interface, DB-25 connector High-speed RS-232 port; complete RS-232 & modem control signal; support DB9 RS-232 connectors, baud rate from 4800 to 115.2 K Two mini-din PS/2 connectors for PS/2 keyboard/mouse Support both self-powered mode and bus-powered mode (max. 500 mA for bus powered mode) Plug & Play
