Injection moulding is one of many processes how plastic products can be produced. The process consists of heated plastic being pressed into a mould and then cooled off to leave a finished product. The mould is designed and engineered with precision by a specialist to ensure the outcome is to the exact dimensions and specifications for the intended application. Injection moulding is used for a wide variety of products from the smallest and simplest screws and fasteners to large and complex enclosures and panels.
An injection moulding machine used to produce Linxcom’s products.
At Linxcom, we have designed and engineered our own moulds for our products. This gives us the flexibilty to adapt our products to meet the needs of any application, whilst allowing development of the core products. Through research and feedback we constantly exceed the standards set by our customers by ensuring each product will not only perform its intended use but will in the easiest and most convenient way possible.
FTTH terminal boxes designed, engineered and branded by Linxcom
Part of the service we offer to all our customers is the customisation of our injection moulded products. Whether it’s adapting one of our products or building one from scratch, we can design and engineer any specification promptly. We can also brand most plastic items, so your custom product can bear your name and be a cornerstone to expand or fortify your product range.

Linxcom inline enclosures can be used for high density splice management whilst maintaining integrity and durability. The splice tray holds up to 48 fibres in just 12 protection sleeves, meaning there is 4 splices per sleeve. Not only is this method space-saving but it also greatly improves the management of the fibres within the enclosure.
Multi-Splice Protection Sleeves
These protection sleeves are made to protect more than one splice, alleviate the need for multiple splice protectors and continuous shrink heating to save time and cost. Multi-splice protection sleeves consist of 3 parts: Outer Tube - like other splice protectors this part is shrink tubing designed to seal around the bare fibre splices and cable sheaths Strength Member - made of ceramic, this part is for supporting and strengthening the splices, but unlike singular splice protectors it is much larger and thicker to support multiple splices. Inner Tube - this part is a gap in the outer shrink tubing for the fibre to go through. Unlike singular splice protectors it is of an elongated shape to allow space for multiple splices. Multi-splice protection sleeves are available in sizes for 4, 6, 8 and 12 fibres, and can come in a variety of colours for easy management.

Metalworking is a collection of processes to make metals into parts or complete assemblies, they can be as small as screws or as big as the structures for skyscrapers. Metalworking dates back thousands of years starting with the creation of weapons and jewellery in 4000-5000BC. Today the development processes are far more complex and consist or hundreds of machines that complete different tasks to make almost anything you can imagine.
Reels of Cold-rolled Steel which are used to produce Linxcom’s patch panels and cabinets.
At Linxcom, we have designed and engineered our own products and have partners with the capabilities to produce them. This gives us the flexibilty to adapt our products to meet the needs of any application, whilst allowing development of the core products. Through research and feedback we constantly exceed the standards set by our customers by ensuring each product will not only perform its intended use but will in the easiest and most convenient way possible.
Cold-rolled steel patch panels designed and engineered by Linxcom
Part of the service we offer to all our customers is the customisation of our metalworked products. Whether it’s adapting one of our products or building one from scratch, we can design and engineer any specification promptly. We can also brand most metal items, so your custom product can bear your name and be a cornerstone to expand or fortify your product range.
