Gatekeeper Systems, working together with motorized cart manufacturers, has engineered a wireless disabling device that attaches to the cart, without modifying the units electrical system. As the cart attempts to leave the store, a signal is sent to the tamper resistant MobilityManager, mounted discreetly on the unit, letting it know it does not have permission to exit the store. The cart gently stops when it reaches the invisible barrier, preventing the cart from going outside.
MobilityManager is the ideal solution for store exits, mall entrances, or any other area that you would like to protect motorized carts from leaving through.

A Wireless Antenna placed in the doorway vicinity establishes the area where the motorized cart will be disabled.
The system has been engineered to work seamlessly with the Amigo® and Mart Cart® brands of motorized shopping carts.
The motorized cart is easily reactivated with one touch of the button on the store’s remote control or by pushing it back into the unlock field.
The MobilityManager receives the locking signal in the designated area bringing the cart to a gradual stop.
Located behind the lock zone, the Wireless antenna notifies the MobilityManager to unlock. Carts are back in service and ready to roll in seconds. Discreetly placed MobilityManager stops the cart from going outside.
