Welcome Thank you for purchasing the new Professional Wireless DJ acoustic system, “XtremeBass” SY-XT9000DJ. Please read this manual carefully before operating your product. And pay close attention to the precautions which are mentioned below. Store this user manual in a safe place for future reference.
Safety Precautions Points to observe for safe usage Read this manual carefully before using the product. They contain instructions on how to use this product in a safe and effective manner. SYTECH will not be responsible for problems resulting from failure to observe the instructions in this manual. Turn off the device immediately in case of a problem. Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to the product. Return it to your authorized SYTECH dealer for repairing. Product cleaning. Use a soft dry cloth for periodic cleaning of the product. For more severe stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else has the chance of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic.
Maintenance. If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
Heat. Do not locate the appliance in the vicinity of a heat surface or in direct sunlight.

Under normal circumstances, the remote control should be aimed directly at the receiving window of the unit from about 6 meters and within a 30° angle.

When operating the remote control, aim the remote control at the receiving window of the unit and ensure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the unit.

If the remote receiver is in a position to direct sunlight, it may fail. In this case, move the speaker away to avoid the light.

Avoid mixing old and new batteries. Replace the remote control batteries regularly.

Control Panel The SY-XT9000DJ Speaker includes two panel controls. Each panel is totally independent and can control the following sources: Control Panel 1 (Channel 1): • • • • • • •

Functions on Control board
USB/SD/Bluetooth control panel (1) (Channel 1) The control panel (1) is used to select the different modes. A. Mode: Select the different modes: USB / SD Bluetooth FM radio Recording B. Play: USB/SD: Start music playback Bluetooth: Start music playback FM: Start the auto scan function Record: Records the voice when a microphone is connected C. Stop: Stop the Playback of any selected mode. D. Repeat: Repeat function: All, Normal, Single, Folder, Random, Browse E. Previous: Select the previous track in the following mode: USB / SD, Bluetooth, FM F. Next: Select the next track in the following mode: USB / SD, Bluetooth, FM

Track Selection (2) (Channel 1&2) • The track button will only work under USB /SD mode. • Select your desired track, folder or playback the selected track. • Insert a USB / SD card. The display will indicate the first track of the first folder. • Turn the knob left or right to search for a track. Press the track button downwards to play the desired track. • If the USB or SD card contain different folders, press the track button downwards to access the selection of the folder. After selecting the folder, press the track button downwards to access the tracks located in the folder. Joggle the knob until you find the desired track. Press once more the track button to play the selected track. Input selector (6) (Channel 1) Select the desired input source: AUX1 (18): AUX in RCA input to connect an external device such as TV, DVD, MP3, etc. Line In (20): Line in 3.5mm jack input to connect any external audio device such as Smartphone, Tablet, MP3, etc. SD1/USB1 (1): 2.0 USB port or SD card slot. Insert the desired memory device for playback. Treble control (7) (Channel 1&2) Turn the knob to adjust the High frequencies of channel 1 or channel 2. Bass control (8) (Channel 1&2) Turn the know to adjust the low frequencies of channel 1 or channel 2 Cue selector (9) (Channel1&2) Press the CUE button to monito the audio via the headphone Channel fader (10) (Channel1&2) Adjust the volume level of each channel independently. Master volume fader (11) (Channel1&2) Adjust the master volume of all the channels. Input selector (12) (Channel 2) Select the desired input source: AUX2 (19): AUX in RCA input to connect an external device such as TV, DVD, MP3, etc. SD2/USB2 (1) (Channel 2): 2.0 USB port or SD card slot. Insert the desired memory device for playback. Microphone talk over (13) Press the Talk over button to reduce the volume level of all the audio sources by 20dB. The microphone output level will remain at its normal level. This function is ideal for making announcements, without stopping the music. Crossfader CH1/CH2 (14) The cross fader function is used to create a smooth transition from channel 1 to channel 2. Mix your tracks by simply moving the knob from channel 1 to channel 2, or vice versa. Headphone volume control (15) Adjust the volume level of the headphone output. LED light (16) Press the party Light button to activate the LED lights located on the speaker grill. Line out (17) Line output enabling connection to a mixer, amplifier, etc. Aux 1 (18) (Channel 1) Connect an external device for audio input such as: DVD, TV, VCR, MP3, etc.)

Bluetooth function Select the BLUETOOTH mode in channel 1, using the “INPUT” switch on the top panel of the unit or from the remote control itself. Please ensure the BT devices you wish to connect has the Bluetooth function enabled and visible. Start the scan function from your device and search for “SY-XT9000DJ”. Once you have found the device, press on it and connect the speaker with the device. When the connection is successful, a “tick” tone will be heard. If the speaker can’t be connected, please restart the speaker or the device and try again. After the connection is successfully established, you can begin to play music. To ensure continuous stability of the music signal, try to keep the BT device and the mobile phone facing one another. The BT of the unit can be used up to 10 meters if there are no obstacles. Note: Bluetooth function is only available on Channel 1. Before pairing a device to the speaker, disconnect the previous device. Due to different Bluetooth Profiles and versions, we cannot guarantee all devices can connect successfully.
FM Radio -
Press the “MODE” button (1) to select the FM mode. Press the “Pause/Play” button to start the automatic search of the stations. The unit will start to search all the main stations and will store them automatically. Once the scan search has finalized, press the “NEXT” (F) or “PREVIOUS” (E) buttons to access to the stored channels. The unit will store up to 40 presets.
Note: The FM stations can only be stored automatically. The position of the channel store number will start from the lowest FM frequency to the highest.
USB /SD-MMC Function The SY-XT9000DJ speaker includes 2 x USB control panels. It is possible to insert 1x USB pen drive on channel 1 and another USB on channel 2. Before starting to playback a USB, make sure the USB is formatted as FAT32 or else the unit will not be able to detect the files. -
Insert the USB drive into the USB slot of the Sound system The unit should detect the USB automatically and play the first track If in the case the USB does not start automatic playback, press the Mode button (1) and select USB mode. If you wish to pause the music, simply press the pause button (B) To select the next track, simply press the “Next” button (F) To select the previous track, simply press the “Previous” button (E) While listening to the tracks, adjust the EQ setting as per your desire.

Make sure the music files are as MP3, WMA format or else the music system will not be able to read the files. Make sure the music files are recorded to the root directory. It is advisable to remove unnecessary files for faster reading of the content. The USB is only meant to connect a USB pen drive. The USB port is not compatible for HDD devices, or MP3 player.
SD/MMC FUNCTION: Make sure your SD/MMC card is formatted as FAT32. Insert the SD/MMC card into the SD slot of the Sound system The unit should detect the SD/MMC card automatically and play the first track If in the case the SD/MMC card does not start automatic playback, press the Mode button (1) and select USB mode. If you wish to pause the music, simply press the pause button (B) To select the next track, simply press the “Next” button (F) To select the previous track, simply press the “Previous” button (E) While listening to the tracks, adjust the EQ setting as per your desire.
Recording function Before using the recording function, make sure you have inserted a USB or a SD card in Control panel 1. Note: The recording function will only record voice. It is therefore necessary to connect a microphone to use this function. Record: - Press the “MODE” button (1) to select the Recording function. - “Record” should appear on the LCD display. - Press the “Pause/Play” button to start the recording of the voice into an external memory such as a USB or a SD card. - If the external memory is used for the first time, a new folder will be created into the memory and named as “REC001, REC002” etc. - Press “Pause/Play” or “Mode” button to stop the recording. Playback: - To playback a recorded file, make sure you have inserted the USB or SD card where the files are stored. - Press and hold the “Play/Pause” button to start playback of the recorded files. - Press the Next and Previous buttons to select the desired recorded track.

Simple troubleshooting Try the troubleshooting steps below if you are having problems while using your speaker. If problems still exist, please look for a qualified technician or contact Sytech technical department. To prevent electric shock or expand the scope of the malfunction, do not repair by yourself. Cannot display some files in the USB device
1. The number of folders or filed in the USB device exceeds the max limit. This is not a malfunction of the unit. 2. The formats of these files are not supports

1. The USB device is incompatible with the unit. Try another one.
Poor radio reception
1. Increase the distance between the unit and your TV or VCR 2. Fully extend the FM antenna
Bluetooth does not connect with external device
1. Verify that the external device is compatible with A2DP 2. Verify that the external device is within the transmission range 3. Verify that the external device has already been paired with the unit. 4. Verify if there is no other external device paired with the unit.
