AXI Series The Apia AXI series uses a coaxial speaker technology as a technical solution with proven effectiveness in quality for the professional audio market.
The AXI Series coaxial technology has demonstrated numerous advantages over classic two-way speaker systems which typically suffer from interference around the crossover point resulting in lobing and uneven frequency and power response. The particular benefits of coaxial technology are related to the radiation characteristics of a point source. The natural studio monitor sound quality and the aural sensation of transparent sound, typical of coaxial systems, is adapted in the AXI series for proximity applications such as stage monitoring, front-fills, under-balcony fills and FOH live monitoring.

The AXI-IN’S integrated bi-amplification and static DSP module (48k at 24 bit) offers a comprehensive transducer protection while offering defined audio reproduction. The AXI-IN is a complete integrated system that has been designed to fulfil the highest audio expectations for a broad range of professional sound reinforcement applications. The AXI-IN has an auto switchable current transformer with a range of 85 to 264 VAC to accommodate worldwide use. With its frequency response of 85 Hz – 19 kHz, an onboard low cut selector of 125 Hz and a max volume of 123 db SPL the AXI-IN is perfectly suitable for applications as stage monitoring, front-fills, under-balcony fills and near field monitoring.

AXI-Array The Axi-Array 1 x 15” speaker is excellent for proximity applications. Their line sources stand in between variable curvature line sources, which create efficiency over large distances and point sources based on coaxial technology.
The AXI-Array line sources provide high SPL with perfect acoustic coupling, a solid LF performance and constant tonal balance over distance. Systems can be deployed either as a horizontal or as a vertical array. In the coupling vertical plane, the Axi-Array line source yields a razor-sharp directivity pattern, particularly valuable to sector audience fields while avoiding reflective surfaces. In the horizontal plane, they provide a smooth directivity pattern. Furthermore, the trapezoidal shape of Axi-Array enclosures corresponds exactly to their coverage value (20°). The Axi-Array systems can be deployed in both on the vertical plane or the horizontal plane, with a total coverage angle proportional to the number of AXI-Array enclosures in the array. The AXI-Array can fit applications requiring narrow coverage (20°) such as fills. The AxiArray fits very well a standard coverage (90°) for L/R FOH systems or an extended coverage for central clusters and up to 360° for in-the-round designs. In vertical position the Axi-Array with its patented wave guide horn, has a vertical sound dispersion of 20° symmetrical and a horizontal dispersion of 90° asymmetrical (-35°/+55°). 48

AXI-Sub
The Axi-Sub features an on-board DSP with a preloaded presets library, providing intuitive control over the main functions with buttons and display. All DSP functions, including gain, mute, delay, preset recall and store, can also be remotely controlled via software over RS485. The Axi-Sub is a 1 x 18” self-powered, highoutput subwoofer suitable for both flown and ground stacked configurations. This compact subwoofer integrates smartly with the Apia Axi self-powered, full-range loudspeakers. The integrated standard 35mm pole-mount receptacle, included with all Axi-Sub, allows the subwoofer to be easily paired with Axi series loudspeakers for either fixed or touring applications.
The Axi-Sub subwoofer boasts an operating frequency range of 29 Hz to 60, 80 or 100 Hz and a peak SPL of 136 dB at 1 meter. The 18-inch cone driver with neodymium magnet is engineered to deliver optimal subwoofer performance. 50
The high-excursion back-vented driver is rated to handle 1100 W / 4400 W RMS peak, which is housed in a tuned enclosure constructed of Baltic birch plywood. The durable Apia Axi-Sub enclosure is coated with Polyurea finish. Other options include custom color finishes for fixed installations and applications with specific cosmetic requirements. The dimensions for the Axi-Sub make its transportation compatible with both European and U.S. trucks.
