Using the TIMER function This function allows you to delay the cooking process on foods like baked potatoes, up to 24 hours in 5 minute increments. However, we do not recommend this with perishable foods like meats, if left at room temperature for more than 2 hours they could spoil. You can use the delay time setting with all modes except FRY and YOGURT/DOUGH mode. DO NOT LEAVE PERISHABLE FOODS SUCH AS MEAT, POULTRY, FISH, CHEESE AND DAIRY PRODUCTS AT ROOM TEMPERATURE FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS (OR MORE THAN 1 HOUR WHEN THE ROOM TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE 90°F). WHEN COOKING WITH THESE FOODS, DO NOT SET THE TIMER FUNCTION FOR MORE THAN 1-2 HOURS.
Cleaning and Maintenance Do not wash any parts of the multi-cooker in the dishwasher except for the removable cooking pot and accessories. Always wash the multi-cooker thoroughly after every use, or if it has not been used for an extended period. Precaution: ALWAYS unplug the multi-cooker and allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
Main unit and outer lid
Wipe with a damp cloth. If you continue using the rice cooker with a soiled lid, the soil will not come off. The outer lid may be discolored or stained with the soil, but is not unsanitary. Do not wash with dishwashing detergent. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
Steam valve ALWAYS check that the steam valve is in good working order before each use. The Stem Valve removes for easy cleaning, simply pull up on the valve’s lip and it pops out.
Removable cooking pot: Wash with dishwashing detergent and a sponge. Wipe water off the pot. If the pot is deformed or the non-stick coating is worn away, purchase a new pot at your nearest retailer and replace the old pot with the new one. DO NOT USE POT FROM OTHER SIMILIAR PRODUCTS. To avoid damage to the non-stick coating on the removable cooking pot
Avoid tapping or scratching the pan. Do not put metal spoons or other utensils in the pan. Do not attempt to clean the pan with scouring powder, steel wool or a nylon-scouring pad. Clean the pan with a sponge.
