1.RCA INPUT / AUTO HI-LOW LINE CONVERTOR RCA input jacks are for use with source units that have outputs up to 5V. A remote turn on wire is needed when not using the ATO feature. When a remote turn on wire is used keep the ATO button pressed “in”. For Hi-level signal input use non-supplied RCA speaker wire adaptors. Connect positive and negative of each speaker to each adaptor and connect to RCA inputs. Press ATO button “in” (see #6) when hi-level signal is used. 2.X1 / X18 FOR HIGH PASS FREQUENCY CROSSOVER When this button is set at the “out” position the HPF range adjustments are 20Hz ~ 45KHz. When this button in set at the “in” the HPF range is from 360Hz ~ 6KHz. WARNING: Use buttons and HPF knob correctly to prevent low frequency damage to tweeters. 3.HI-PASS FILTER AND MODE SWITCH When the setting is adjusted to the far left position the amplifier is in full range from 20Hz ~ 45KHz. Adjustments to HPF can be made by turning to the right to desired frequency. 4.X1 / X11 LOW PASS FREQUENCY CROSSOVER When this button is set to the “out” position the LPF range adjustments are 50Hz ~ 550Hz. When this button is set to “in” the LPF range is from 550Hz ~ 6KHz. 5.LOW PASS FILTER CONTROL This control is used to select the desired low pass x-over frequency. The frequency can be adjusted from 50Hz to 6KHz. 6.AUTO TURN ON SIGNAL SENSING HI-INPUT / REMOTE OUT When ATO button is set to “in” any RCA low level signal coming from a source will turn on the amplifier. Optional turn on of the amp can be done using the 12Volt turn on terminal (see #16) if desired. When set to the “out” position speaker level inputs using the non-supplied RCA speaker wire adaptors will automatically power on the amplifier and the remote input becomes a 12V DC trigger output to power other 12V devices. 7.POWER INDICATOR When LED is GREEN this amplifier is in safe operation. When LED is RED this amplifier is in protection mode. 8.GAIN CONTROL The gain control will match the amplifiers sensitivity to the source units signal voltage. The operating range is 6V to 200mV. Input level is from 0.2V ~ 5V. This is NOT a volume control. 9.SETTING FOR HPF / FR OR LPF / BAND PASS When this button is set to the “out” position frequencies are either full range or high-pass depending on your frequency selector settings (#2 & #3). When button is set to “in” frequencies are low-pass and adjustable for the creation of a band-pass depending on your high-pass / low-pass frequency selector settings. For band-pass use (#2, #3, #4 & #5)
10.BASS BOOST LEVEL CONTROL This control can boost bass levels between -6dB and +12dB at a adjustable frequency response from 30Hz ~ 120Hz. (See #11) 11.BASS EQ W/ ADJUSTABLE CENTER FREQUENCY Used for selecting center frequency for bass boost from 30Hz ~ 120Hz. (See #10 for bass gain adjustments) 12.4CH / 2CH SELECTABLE INPUT BUTTON When the button is set to the “out” position all 4 RCA inputs can be used. When the button is set to the “in” position RCA’s inputs 1 and 2 will operate for all 4 channels. 13.SPEAKER TERMINALS Connect speakers/subwoofers to these terminals. Be sure to check wire for proper polarity. Never connect the speaker cable to chassis ground. 14.EXTERNAL CAPACITOR INPUT For connecting an optional (sold separately) external hi-voltage capacitor. This will help stabilizing the amplifiers needed voltage during operation while improving fidelity and maximizing head room. 15.+12 VOLT POWER Connect this terminal through 4 gage power wire with a BREAKER to the positive terminal of the vehicle battery or nal of an isolated audio system battery. WARNING: Always protect this power cable by installing breaker of the appropriate size within 18 inches (45cm) of nal connection.

16.+12V REMOTE TURN ON INPUT OR 12V OUTPUT When the ATO button is set to the “in” position (see #6) the input turn on terminal (see #16) becomes a +12 volt output turn-on lead for other devices. When the ATO button is set to the “out” position only RCA inputs are needed for turn on. (when a input signal is supplied) Optional connection of the 12Volt turn on terminal (see #16) will also operate turn on function. 17.– GROUND CONNECTION Connect 4 gage cable directly to the frame or metal of the vehicle. Make sure the metal frame has been stripped of all paint down to the bare metal. Use the shortest distance possible. CAUTION: Do not connect this terminal directly to the vehicle battery ground terminal or any other factory ground points.
