Update from DM 2013 (2.8.8.8) to DM 2015 (2.15.5.0) Please save bevor updating your material datas, since they could be overwritten by the update process. 1. Use the Auto Update Tool to search for the Udpate: 2. Close Control Panel 3. Start the download: 4. Start the installation and follow the steps: 5. The follwoing message appears for 64bit Systems….. 6. ….and needs another downlaod and installation process 7. Please follow the instructions : 8. For the installation use the Standard Upgrade function: 9. …. Follow the instruction: 10. At this point do not choose anything, the user will be guided through it automatically. 11. The installation is finished. If you want to install the Splint Designer (only for 64bit systems), tick the check box and click on „next“ and „finish“ 12. New scan application: Depending on your Scanner you have the possibility to choose your prefered scan Software in the drop down menu of the order form. (ScanIt Dental or ScanIt Restoration) 13. To use this option you have to activate it in the Control Panel under system settings 14. Scanner calibration: in most of the cases a scanner calibration will be necessary after the update. Please follow the instruction. 15. Before the first shipment of an order to the cara manufacturing center, it is necessary to implement the customer contact in the location settings of the Control Panel. The manufacturer of the software (3Shape) arranged that these fields have to be filled with data. Heraeus Kulzer does not use the data from these fields in any form and thus the data can be fictitious nature. Heraeus Kulzer used only contact / delivery data, which are stored in the central in-house ordering system (SAP) and assigned to your customer number.
