04-08-01 Keystone CAT6a IVORY Item: Keystone CAT6a IVORY Part No: 1418961 Category: Electronic Group: Termination Manufacturer: ADC Krone Supplied by: Installer Description: CAT 6a - RJ 45 8 pin modular socket Application: Both ends of the installed CAT5e FTP cable is terminated onto keystones. Note that it is an unshielded keystone used in a shielded solution. Installation: Installation and termination shall only be executed by a technician with proof of successful training to terminate ADC Krone/TE Connectivity connectors. This proof shall be presented prior to start of any termination on network cables. To terminate, use ONLY 110 termination tool. The completed installation shall be tested as per specification. (See 04-0811) Termination At the patch panel, terminate the CAT5e FTP cable on the unshielded RJ45 Keystone. Crimp a fork terminal (see 04-08-07) to the drain wire and securely fasten it to the associated stud provided on the patch panel keystone carrier. At the other end of the CAT5e FTP cable, terminate the CAT5e FTP cable on the unshielded RJ45 Keystone without connecting the drain wire. The drain wire is to be wound around the cable isolation. Both ends shall be wired to T568A standard. Maximum untwist is 0mm. Cable jacket stripping shall not exceed 7.5mm after termination. Do not fit cover over keystone.
