The Extron USB HUB4 is a four-port, USB 2.0 compatible hub designed for architectural mounting applications. It allows the sharing of up to four USB devices on a single host port. It is available in two versions: AAP - Architectural Adapter Plate and MAAP - Mini Architectural Adapter Plate, and is ideal for any environment requiring convenient, integrated USB connectivity.

The USB HUB4 is a 4-port USB 2.0 hub designed for simple, elegant architectural integration in a variety of Extron architectural products. It allows up to four USB devices to be centrally connected to a single USB port and is ideal for use in any application where multiple USB devices must share a single USB port.
n USB 2.0 compatible – Compatible with current and past USB standards.
For integration flexibility, the USB HUB4 is equipped with both USB “Mini” Type B and captive screw host inputs. The captive screw input is ideal for installation in junction boxes, in lecterns, and other spaceconstrained applications. The USB HUB4 is available in two versions - the USB HUB4 AAP - Architectural Adapter Plate, and the USB HUB4 MAAP - Mini Architectural Adapter Plate. They are designed to mount easily in Cable Cubby® furniture-mountable access enclosures, HSA - Hideaway® Surface Access enclosures, floor boxes, AVTrac®, wallplates, and other products that accept a double space AAP or MAAP.

n Supports data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps – Allows high speed transfer from thumb drives and other mass storage devices. n Four port output hub with 5V, 500mA available on each output – Allows simultaneous connection to multiple peripheral devices such as mass storage devices, keyboards, mice, or other HID – Human Interface Devices. Attached devices can be powered via the provided 5V, 500mA available on each output. n USB Type B and captive screw host inputs – Captive screw input option and overall shallow depth allows installation in junction boxes, behind whiteboards, in lecterns, and other spaceconstrained environments. n Choice of AAP - Architectural Adapter Plate or MAAP - Mini Architectural Adapter Plate versions – The USB HUB4 is available in versions to fit products that accept double-space AAP or MAAP architectural adapter plates. n USB bus power or optional external power supply – The USB HUB4 can be powered by the USB host or with an optional external 12VDC power supply, part # 70-775-01. The USB HUB4 features a power loop-out so that it can share external power with another Extron product.

To power the USB HUB4 from the USB Host, connect the supplied 6’ (1.8m) USB Type A-to-USB Type B mini cable between the Host PC and the USB HUB4. For use in space-constrained applications, the USB HUB4 also accepts USB input and Host power on captive screw connectors.
The USB HUB4 features a power supply input with loop-out so that it can share external power with another Extron product. Connect the optional external 12VDC power supply to the USB HUB4, and then loop power out to the other Extron device.
