eikon™ e4 Recipe Directions IMPORTANT: Downloading from a USB stick will clear all existing programs. You will need a USB stick of 4GB or less; preferably 2GB.
1. Turn on the oven. If the oven is already on, turn the oven off and then on again.

2. The Merrychef oven eikon
display will appear. Immediately press the top right hand corner of the display screen. ™
3. A keypad will be displayed, (Figure 1). 4. Enter the password ‘manager’ and press the green check icon to continue, (Figure 1).

5. Select USB from the setting screen, (Figure 2). 6. Slide the USB cover, on the unit - logo on the oven front, upwards to insert the USB into the slot, (Figure 3).
7. When the inserted USB stick has finished flashing, select FIGURE 3
the required USB symbol, for example RECIPES, (Figure 4).
8. Select the new file using the scroll arrow, if required, to locate
the file. Note: a tinted band over a file name indicates the file is not available to use, (Figure 5).
9. Double check the file is correct before selecting OK, if not, FIGURE 4
select ‘X’ and locate the correct file.
10. Progress of the file update is displayed. Once completed the oven will restart and commence heating up to the PREHEAT temperature ready to cook.
11. Remove the USB stick and keep in a safe place. FIGURE 5
12. Reposition the USB cover on the unit, (Figure 6).
