This is in response to several issues reported in the field when using similar cables from other suppliers. Scope To provide details of the tried and tested USB to Serial Adaptor Cable and how to order it. Procedure The Siemens recommended cable is the Lindy USB to Serial Adaptor - 25Way (RS-232). This USB to Serial Converter allows any modern USB equipped computer to connect to devices equipped with 25 Way serial RS-232 ports. It has also been tried and tested by Siemens on their equipment.
