User guide for Conversor Pro Transmitter Microphone for use with external microphones PROV1TRM Conversor Pro transmitter microphone PROV1TRM has an on-board omnidirectional microphone. Unlike the standard transmitter microphone (PROV1TRA) there is no directional microphone. Instead an external directional microphone can be connected using the jack socket on the transmitter microphone. The external microphone can be any of the following: a) Conversor boom headset microphone for use by tour guides, teachers, lecturers and group leaders. b) Conversor MM1 directional microphone used as a lapel microphone with the lapel clip provided or as a table top directional microphone. c) Any other external microphone The external directional microphone is accessed using the toggle switch at the front of the transmitter microphone and will be on when the green light is on. To select the on-board omni-directional microphone press the toggle switch, the green light will go off, signifying that the on-board microphone is selected. To connect a line input from another audio device to the transmitter microphone please use the Listenor Pro audio cable PROV1LAU.
