Product overview Product Introduction Fiber optic transceiver is the most suitable connector for the intelligence community broadband Ethernet or fiber to the desktop, widely used for expanding the network transmission distance. The series fiber optical transceivers comply with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab / z standard, network transmission distance limit can be extended from the twisted pair 100M to 100KM and more, you can easily realize seamless co nnection between servers, repeaters, hubs and terminal, it can meet the needs of long-distance, high-speed, high-bandwidth Fast Ethernet workgroup users.Fiber optic transceivers can not only extend the transmission distance, but also with good isolation protection and data privacy, stable working, maintain easily, and many other advantages, it can effectively avoid lightning, surging and electromagnetic interference threaten for communications equipment in harsh environments.

Notes: Equipment is with precision instrument built in, please take it gently to avoid severe vibration, so as not to affect the device performance. If you find that the device is damaged or any part is lost during transport, please notify the Company or the Company's distributor, we will properly solve this problem for you. Indicator: Indicating the working status of power, network connection, fiber interface and electrical interface. This can help engineers to check the working status of system and network, and then analyze field problems and facilitate monitoring. Power jack: connected to the power adapter. Please use 48V power, otherwise the POE switch can be damaged. Built-in 100M POE switch will need no power adapter, you can use it just by connecting to AC110V-24V/50Hz power. Ethernet interface: Auto adapt RJ45 port, all RJ45 port support auto flip, plug-and-play. You can also check the working status by seeing the indicators.

Installation guide Please make sure to use this products based on the following regulation, in order to avoid any damage to human body or to other connected products.
Installation Before installation, please make sure: 1.Note the value range and the related mark on the product and the User Guide; 2.Make sure the power adapter specification matches with the product label
Installation Steps: 1.Connect optical fiber patch code with Media Converter fiber port. Note fiber TX on one end should be connected to RX on the other end to Media Converter. 2.UTP wire to RJ45 port of the Media Converter. 100Base-TX requires 2 twisted pairs (1/2; 3/6), while 1000 Base-T requires 4 twisted pairs, and it must be Super Category 5 twisted pair or Super Category 6 twisted pair. 3.Connect the power adapted DC plug with Media Converter DC plug, and then insert the AC power adapter plug to AC socket, turn on the power, now the Media Converter POWER indictor is ON, the other indictors will be ON successively with the self-inspection turn. The RJ45 port will detect the connected device status to decide itself working status, if no devices are detected; Media Converter RJ45 port will be set up to be Full-duplex, which will be displayed with the LED indictor.

Note
1 Don’t put heavy thing on the product to keep good heat dissipation status 2 Turn off the power before plugging the power 3 Don’t look straight at the fiber ports when Media Converter is powered, in case any damage to eyes. Please refer to the above solution with any problems of installation and using, or get in to touch with our technicians.

elimination methods
After making contact, twisted pair were connected, the electric port indicator “OFF”
To transform the DIP switch gear or restart power source.
Fiber indicator “OFF” or replacing fiber connector still “OFF”
Detecting optical power of receiver, it should not lower than -36 dBM. Otherwise replacing longer distance equipment.
Fiber dynamic indicator “Blink” or “OFF”, data transmission cannot be connected
1、Port optical transmit power is not enough or attenuation is too large. 2、Luminous sensitivity is not enough on receiver port. 3、Checking fiber connection loss.
Both of end equipment link is faulty.
Connected analog terminal by twisted-pair cable cross -connection Testing both of end equipment whether is normal.
PING , packet loss happened
Checking whether the twisted pair is in accordance with standard.
Appendix: 2U rack can supports inserted 16 fiber optic transceiver modules, each module can be used independently with modular power supply design, dual power backup, easy maintenance, good shielding, it can effectively prevent electromagnetic interference for power supply module running.
