1. INTRODUCTION

Once you have read the Wisepilot User Guide and learned how to use the features, your everyday life will feel far more free, secure and organized since all required information is provided via your mobile phone. 2. GENERAL APPLICATION STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONALITY 2.1 USER INTERFACE The Main menu The Main Menu is the starting-point of Wisepilot, it contains a number of alternatives; Find, Favourites, Show map, More, Settings, My Subscription and About Wisepilot. On some phone models the options Settings, My subscription and About Wisepilot are located under More in the Main menu. For more information regarding the Main menu, read chapter 3.
Options menu The Options menu (on most phones accessed from a button on the left hand side) gives access to object related options, such as alternatives for deleting and editing. For more information regarding the Options menu, read chapter 5.

2.2 BASIC APPLICATION MODEL Below is a basic application flow for you to study. It presents the Main Menu and its most frequently used alternatives. For more detailed information; read the instructions following.

3. MAIN MENU 3.1 FIND Free text search In the find view there is an option to free text search. Find what you are looking for by typing the name of the business, person, phone number or address, alternatively by combining two, for example: “John Adams in London”. Near me Select a category and what you would like to find nearby your current position, for example Eating & Drinking, Travel & Transport and Shopping. Do you already know what you are looking for? Enter the name of what you would like to find! 1

Wisepilot has fully integrated directory listings (Yellow and White Pages) which enables you to search for people and companies directly in Wisepilot and use the results as destinations. In 2 order to search for a person or company, enter name, address or phone number . Address 3

When the search is completed, Wisepilot will automatically try to pick up the address of the found position. 3.2 FAVOURITES Wisepilot allows you to save any type of destination as a favourite. When you have found an address, destination or person you would like to add as a favourite, select Save from the Options menu in order to add it to the list. Wisepilot automatically stores your most recent searches in the Search history folder under 1 2 3 4 5 6

Favourites. You can organize your favourites in folders. Simply select the favourite you would like to move, choose > Edit in the Options menu, then decide if you want to move it to an existing folder or create a new one. In Edit you can also add information about your favourite. To delete a favourite, select Delete in the Options menu. 3.3 SHOW MAP The map view In the map view you can find your current position by selecting My Position in the Options menu. When you select My Position , your position is always in the centre of the map (even when you walk around/drive your car). When marking a destination, a pop-up window will show an address (if there is any) and a possibility to view details. When choosing deatils, the Detail view will show.

3.4 MORE Trip report The Trip report is a function which allows you to record your route. There are two ways of starting a trip report: • By default trip reports are created automatically. Automatic trip reports can be swiched off in Main menu > Settings > Navigation and is automatically started when you select Drive/ Walk. The trip report is automatically ended when you reach your destination. • The trip report can be started, paused, resumed, viewed and ended from Main menu > More > Trip report. To save your trip report, select Save when the trip report is ended. The trip report will be saved to your account on www.wisepilot.com. On the web you can then manage your saved trip reports and export them as Excel or PDF files. Save as favourite Save your current GPS position or latest valid position to your list of favourites. Report map error If you find an error in the map data, select the Report map error option and then press Yes to continue. An e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address so that you can reply with further details about the error. 3.5 SETTINGS1 • General General settings such as backlight. • S peed alerts Settings regarding speed camera alerts. • N avigation Settings regarding what is shown in the navigation view and other navigation settings. • Map layers Settings regarding what is shown on the map (e. g. Traffic info) when viewing Show map or Route on map. • G PS Makes it possible for you to connect an external GPS receiver and view the GPS reception quality. 3.6 MY SUBSCRIPTION2 In My subscription you can extend your subscription. You can also get information about your ID, your current subscription, for how long the subscription is valid and what your web login is. 3.7 ABOUT WISEPILOT3 General information about Wisepilot.

4. DETAIL VIEW The Detail view is accessed when clicking on a search result and shows destination specific information. • Destination name For example: name of business, name of person, name of restaurant or name of address. • Distance Shows the distance from your current position to the destination. • Review A five step grading of destinations such as restaurants and coffee shops. In the bottom of the Detail view, the origin of the reviews are displayed. • Means of travelling Choose drive or walk. • Address Displays the destination address. • Contact details Shows telephone number, e-mail address and web address if available. • Weather A three day weather forecast for a chosen address, favourite, business or for a specific position on the map. By clicking on Show Details you will recieve a five day weather forecast.

5. OPTIONS Select > Options in the detail view, to find the following menu items: • Save/Edit (Save if it is a new search, Edit if it is an existing favourite) Save the selected destination to your list of favourites or Edit the selected favourite. • Share this Share your current position, favourites/other destinations or routes with friends and colleagues via SMS, Twitter or Facebook. To send an SMS; enter a number directly or choose one from your contact book. When sending an SMS, the recipient will receive it as a text message with a map link. The destination will automatically be stored in Favourites if the receiver is a Wisepilot user. If the recipient is not a Wisepilot user, he/she will still receive the message and be able to view the map via the link. When sharing, the map link will be shown on your Twitter/Facebook page. The first time you share via Twitter or Facebook your login needs to be registered. • Find nearby Find objects such as restaurants, gas stations or museums nearby the selected destination. • Set as my position (only when no GPS position is available) Set a position as start position.

6. NAVIGATION 1) Your start position: If you have a GPS position this will be your automatic start position. If no GPS position is available, your last GPS position will be used, or you can set your start position manually.
2) Select destination: Select where you want to go (find near me / person / business / address / intersection / position, select favourite or select position on map.)
3) Start a route: You can choose between pedestrian mode or vehicle mode (Drive or Walk)

Please note that the shortcuts are not avaliable on touch screen phones. 6.2 ITINERARY View the current itinerary The currently valid itinerary is displayed when you select Options menu > Route overview > Itinerary in the navigation view. The remaining intermediate stops are marked with an orange flag and the final destination is marked with a black and white flag. Items can be moved and deleted from the itinerary list. When the itinerary has been changed in some way, the button Reroute will appear at the bottom of the display. A reroute is needed in order to update the route according to your modifications. Additional destinations There are different ways of adding stops to your ongoing route: • From the navigation view: Open the Options menu and select Add destination. You can choose between Nearest petrol station, Nearest food stop, Along route, Near destination, Near me and More options. When selecting More options, you can use the features also situated under Find in the Main Menu. When you have found the new location, select the Add button in the Detail View to add it as an intermediate or final route stop. The stop is added as clever as possible. • From the map view: Open the Options menu in the navigation view and select Route overview > Route on map. Click on a map position, go to the Detail View and select the Add button to add the destination to your trip. Choose to add as intermediate stop or as a new final destination. The stop is added as clever as possible. • From within the itinerary view:

pen the Options menu in the navigation view and select Route overview > Itinerary. In O the itinerary view, open the Options menu, select Add destination and find the desired destination. Open the Detail View and select the Add button to add the destination to your trip. When the itinerary has been changed, these changes must be activated by re-calculating the route when clicking the Reroute button. 1
6.3 TRAFFIC INFORMATION
Given that Traffic info is activated in Map Layers, you can receive traffc event warnings while driving. In order to avoid an incident; click Details when the warning appears and tap Avoid in the Detail view. Now Wisepilot will try to find an alternative route to your destination.

6.4 SPEED CAMERA WARNING When Speed camera warnings in Main menu > Settings > Speed Alerts is enabled, Wisepilot will automatically alert when you are approaching a speed camera at high speed. Speed camera warning only works if speed camera coverage is available in the current country and if you have GPS and GPRS coverage. 6.5 ZOOM Wisepilot has a built-in speed sensitive zoom. When you drive at a higher speed the navigation view zooms out allowing you to see more of the route ahead. When your speed is reduced the map will automatically zoom in. In addition to the automatic zoom it can be controlled manually. Open the Options menu and select Zoom in/out to change zoom level (shortcut 6). 2
6.6 TRAFFIC FLOW SENSITIVE ROUTING
Given that Traffic Flow is activated in Map Layers, Wisepilot can calculate the average current speed for a route and alert if the flow seems to be slower than usual, for example due to traffic congestion. Wisepilot also gives you the option to avoid and re-route.

7. WISEPILOT ON THE WEB 7.1 MY WISEPILOT In order to access your personal web pages at My Wisepilot (www.wisepilot.com), you need to login. Find your login information in Wisepilot on the phone under Main menu > My subscription. Once you have logged in at My Wisepilot you can search, store and administrate destinations and trips. Search Under My Wisepilot > Search you find the search function. As in Wisepilot on the phone you can choose between a number of search types: Search addresses, Search for people, Search companies and Search coordinates. You can also click directly in the map to find out address and position. Favourites On the web you can manage your favourites in an easy way. • Add a favourite by finding a destination and select Save favourite in the menu. • Under Favourites you can select to Delete and Edit information (move to another folder or add/change phone number, internet address or other information). Each time you start Wisepilot on your phone, your favourites on the web and on the phone will be synchronized.

Traffic Info
View current traffic information in a specific area. Add your own areas by panning the map to the area you would like to save, type its name and click Save. Trip Report Under My Wisepilot > Trip report you can find your saved trip reports and select Add to travel report. Once you have added your trips to a Travel report, you can select to export them to Excel or pdf-files. Click Delete if you want to remove the trip. My Profile Under My Wisepilot > My Profile you will find information about your current subscription and your license key. You can also edit your personal information.

Calculate a route To calculate a route you first have to define your start position. Search for an address/ coordinates under Search or select one under your Favourites. When you have found the desired start position, select Use as start in the menu (see picture above). Then find your destination in the same manner but select Route here in the menu instead.
