User Manual, Addendum 1 Connections of the Taigen airsoft & recoil unit Taigen recoil connector The IBU3 module allows to drive the new Taigen recoil units for airsoft tanks without changes. Connect the power cable (male) to the female connector as shown. Make sure the red wire plugs into the positive side (closest to the HL turret socket) Note The Taigen recoil system can be damaged with incorrect polarity it is your responsibility to check before you have connected it correctly. The Taigen recoil system does NOT support batteries 7.4v and above
Connect the signal cable (female) to the connector male as shown. If the recoil is constantly working you need to swap the 2 wires around. DO NOT turn the plug around this will cause a short on the adjacent expansion socket pins.
Note feature only available from Firmware v0.12 onwards

User Manual, Addendum 1 Confirmation screen that IBU3 is receiving all the channels from the radio
On the Radio Setup page, a Channels button has been added. This is to aid you to determine if all your radio channels are been received by the IBU3. Make sure IBU3 and radio are both turned on and receiver is bound, then press the button and you see the below screen.
Here you see that the IBU3 is receiving the signals from channels as “OK” the channels with “-“are not been detected by the IBU3. Check your servo leads are connected properly and that your radio is programmed to be giving an output to those channels before progressing to radio configuration stage.
