System setup Please place the system in the location where you want. Insert the DC jack into the system and the AC adapter into the wall outlet. Please follow the below steps to set the time and date as well as the alarm for the system. Time setting 1. To turn on the system by pressing the standby button 2. Press the time button for 3 seconds until the display is flashing. Set the time: press the up/down arrow to adjust the hour, once the hour is set, press time again to change to the minute. Once the time is set, the next flashing is the date and month. Set the date: press the up/down buttons to change the date, and press time again to change the month. Once the date and month is set, the next flashing number is the year, you can use the up/down button to set the current year. Alarm setting: There are two alarms in this system, to set alarm 1, please follow these steps: 1. Turn the system on first by pressing the standby button 2. Press alarm 1 button, the alarm time will be flashing, you can change the hour by pressing the up/down time, once the hour is set, you can press the alarm 1 button again to adjust the minute by pressing the up/down button. 3. You can set the volume level by adjusting the up/down button 4. You can select the wake up source to ipod/FM/Aux. You may change the source by pressing the up/down until the source you want appeared on the display. 5. To set up the alarm 2, please follow the same steps above. 6. Please note the system will be on for 59 minutes unless the snooze button is pressed, the system will be off for 5 minutes and then on again.
7. To turn off the alarm, you can press the alarm button again. For example, if the alarm 1 is on, you can press alarm 1 again to turn it off. You can also press the standby button to turn off the alarm and the system. Functions: iPod mode: The system has the iPod docked, when the function is on the iPod mode, as soon as the power is on, the iPod will start to play automatically. You can control the iPod with the IR remote control, please refer to the functions on the remote control. If the system is on but in a different mode such as aux‐in or FM mode, you can change to iPod mode by pressing the function button until the iPod mode appears on the LCD display. Aux‐in mode: This system has a line‐in function that allows you to play other audio source by using a 3.5mm audio input jack. However, only the volume up/down or function or mute button works on the aux‐in mode. FM mode: This system comes with the PLL digital turner. To listen to the radio, please be sure the system is on. You may press the function button until the FM icon appears on the display. If the FM icon is flashing, you can change the preset stations by pressing the up/down button. You can press the scan button for 3 seconds to auto scan all the available radio stations from low to high frequency. The “MEM” will also be flashing, it will automatically store the radio stations in memory. Recall memory stations You can press the function button until the FM icon is flashing, you can press the up/down button on the system or ffd/bkd to change memory stored stations.
