SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read these safety instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Attention! • Make sure that no water, other liquids or flammable detergents get inside the device. • Do not spray flammable materials, such as insecticides or fragrances in or around the device. Warning • Only connect to 12V DC cigarette lighter.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 or over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised when using or have received instructions for using the machine safely and understand the possible dangers. Children should not play with this device. The cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless supervised by an adult. • Do not use the device if the cord
or plug is damaged. In such cases, ensure that repairs are only carried out by authorised Forbes Service personnel. Caution • Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents are not obstructed. Do not place objects on top of the device and do not sit on it. • Always use the air purifier on a dry, stable, level and horizontal surface. • Use only ORIGINAL Forbes spare parts and filters.
• Do not use the device after using insect repellents or in places where chemical vapours are present or where incense sticks are burning. • Do not operate the device near gas-powered devices, heaters or open fires. • Do not use the device in areas with extreme temperature fluctuations as this can lead to the formation of condensation inside the unit. • Do not operate the device outdoors or in moist environments. • If the device is not in use for
a longer period of time, it is possible that bacteria may form on the filters. Check all filters thoroughly before operating again. Replace filters if necessary. • Before cleaning the device or changing the filter, turn off the device and disconnect it from the electricity. • The air cleaner does not remove carbon monoxide (CO) or radon (Rn). • Maintenance and repairs should only be performed by authorized Forbes Service personnel.
• The car air purifier has to be placed somewhere in the car where it cannot dislocate at a full break and where it cannot disturb the driver. • Don’t operate the car air purifier while driving.

INSTALLATION
Align the two lines
Operation 1. Place the unit inside the cupholder 2. Insert the cigar plug into the cigar lighter socket (DC 12V) 3. Use caution while wiring the car adaptor • Do not Iet the cord touch or get caught in the seat rails, shift Iever or any other moving parts • Place wire in such a way that the cord does not get in the way of the driver
• When wiring, consider the movement of the seats (forward/backward, swivelling or reclining) 4. Check if the lines on the top cover and upper ring are well aligned 5. Make sure the filter frame is well inserted in the body 6. Push the ‘ON/OFF’ button. When the LED light is on, it indicates that the purifier is operational

INSTALMENT It has to be placed somewhere in the car where it cannot dislocate at a full break and where it cannot disturb the driver. Dependent on the car model, some cigarette lighter has power only when key is turned ON but in some models even in OFF position. When there is power in OFF positon be carefully not to empty car battery.
MAINTENANCE Main unit • Always wipe it with a dry, soft cloth •F or stubborn dirt wipe with a soft, damp cloth and make sure to dry out the main unit • Avoid using harsh or abrasive cleansers Filter • After pulling out the Titanium Dioxide Filter, remove and rinse it with water. Dry it completely before inserting into the machine • Open the top cover, and gently remove the composite filter. This filter must be replaced every 6 months
