Make sure that you place the recorder in an appropriate place, so as not to obstruct the driver’s view. It is recommended to use your device at temperatures from 0 °C to60 °C and humidity from 10% to 80% Doing so may cause the screen to malfunction, result in damage to the device, or cause the battery to explode. Do not use your device or applications for a while if the device is overheated Prolonged exposure of your skin to an overheated device may cause low temperature burn symptoms, such as red spots and pigmentation. Keep away from fire or extreme heat source Keep away from water Do not Dismantle Do not Percussion MicroSD Card Device Charging Battery Do not use camera in hot environment. High temperatures can deform the camera casing, causing damage to the internal electronic components and possibly making the camera malfunction. Do not use camera near water. Any liquid into camera can make electronic short circuit and even cause damage for the camera. Using of waterproof housing in any of the water environment. Do not dismantle the camera because it may lead to damage and directly affect your warranty rights and interests. Do not drop or knock the machine intensely. Rough handling will cause damage to the product components. Using of specific MicroSD Card provided. Other types of SD card used cannot be guaranteed to be normal operation of the camera. Do not store MicroSD card in or near to any intense magnetic place in case of the storage data loss. Inserting other small object into the SD card slot could cause malfunction and damage the camera. Do not use any unknown charger charging the camera. Any non-authorize charger used may cause damage to the camera component, probably permanent damage. It will lead to rapid heating or even burning because of using a non-authorize charger. During charging process, please stop charging and unplug the power immediately if notice in an event of overheating, smoke, or odor in order to avoid any risk of fire. Check video file Display the picture which currently record The remaining battery capacity 6、SD Installation Your device accepts memory cards with maximum capacities of 32 GB. Depending on the memory card manufacturer and type, some memory cards may not be compatible with your device. Some memory cards may not be fully compatible with the device. Using an incompatible card may damage the device or the memory card, or corrupt the data stored in it. Use caution to insert the memory card right-side up as shown in the image below. It is recommended to reformat a memory card every time images are transferred from it to a computer, or at least once a month Reformatting a memory card keeps future data and the structure of files stored on it clean, helping to prevent error messages and missing images. 23 © 2014 Maka Technologies Group. All Rights Reserved. Reformatting also restores the memory card, which can prevent it from becoming corrupted. Removing the memory card Before removing the memory card, first unmounts it for safe removal. On the device 1 Press on the Shooting Button to stop the device from recording 2 Press on the MENU (On/Off) button to switch off the device 3 Pull out the memory card only until device fully shut down. Do not remove the memory card while the device is transferring or accessing information. Doing so can cause data to be lost or corrupted or damage to the memory card or device. Maka GPS Technologies Group is not responsible for losses that result from the misuse of damaged memory cards, including the loss of data. Formatting the memory card You may choose to format your memory card on a computer or on the device. On the device 1. Press on Shooting Button to stop the device from recording 2. Press on the MENU button 3. Press on MENU button to navigate to the function that shows System Setting 4. Before formatting the memory card, remember to make backup copies of all important data stored on the device. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover loss of data resulting from user actions. 7、Camera start up and shut down Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds (3-5 sec) to turn on the device. A welcome message will be displayed on screen as shown in the image below. To turn off the device, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds (3-5 sec) again to turn off the device. A goodbye message will be displayed on screen as shown in the image below. According to the signs marking for positive and negative and the direction of the arrow, place the battery into the camera rightly. c. The battery power indicator: please refer to the icon display on the bottom left of the screen. d. Pull out the cover then can take the battery out. 9、Battery charging a. Install the battery into the camera. b. Connect the camera with computer through data cable. c. Connect the camera with the power adapter by getting through power supply. a、Long press the power button for 3~5 seconds for startup b. Long press the power button for 3~5 seconds for shutdown c. It is always recommended to set as Auto.
