2.3 Principle description • S2 adopts the dynamic balance principle, it uses internal gyroscope and acceleration sensor to check the change of vehicle posture when the barycenter of body changes, and then the servo controlling system will drive the motor to adjust precisely. The user stands on the S2 thinking, when the body leans f orward, the system will be induced automatically and drive the wheel forward precisely to keep balance; when the body leans backward, the wheel will also move backward; when turning.just slow down and control the feet forward or backward according to self turning need to achieve left turning when the body barycenter tends left and right turning when the body barycenter tends right. • The internal inertia dynamic stabilization system of S2 could keep balance of forward and backward directions, but it could not keep the stabilization of left and right directions. • So users must speed down to avoid hurt due to high centrifugal force when turning is needed.

3.Devices of controlling and information display 3.1 P edal s ensor There are 4 sensors under the foot pad, when the user tread the foot pad, S2 will automatically adjust the balance. • When driving S2 make sure the feet are treading the foot pad, please do not tread the outside part of the foot pad. • Please do not put other stuff on the foot pad, otherwise the switch of S2 will not shut down, then increase the possibility of crashing and hurt the users or damage the S2 itself.
3.2Displaypanel The display panel is located in the middle part of S2 which shows the operation information. • A Display area of battery capacity: green light means enough battery capacity; when light changes to red light, that means 20% is left and the battery needs to be charged in time. • B run indicator: when the operator the trigger foot switch, operation indicator I ight wi 11 be I ighted, said system into running state; When the system error, the operation will converted into red lights.

5.Learning driving 4.4 Maximum driving distance The maximum driving distance of S2 is related to many factors, like: • Road condition: more distance on smooth and flat road, and vice versa . • Weight: more weight will reduce the distance, and vice versa. • Environmental temperature: more distance when storing and driving S2 at suggested temperature, and less distance at extreme temperature condition. • Maintenance: more distance when conducting reasonable charging and battery maintenance, and vice versa. • Speed and driving style: more distance at medium speed, and less distance if frequent start-stop and acceleration-

When the wheels stop rotating, the vehicle stops 2s later. The voltage of battery is less than the protection value, the vehicle stops lSs later. High current discharges continuously (for example, driving on long slope with long time). there will be a buzzer hint sound alarm, the vehicle stops lSs later.

When S2 into the stop condition the system will automatically shut down, according to power on key to restart. Do not drive S2 when the battery capacity is out of use, otherwise the vehicle will not achieve balance due to not enough capacity, and the user will possibly get hurt. 6.Safety guideline of driving 5 .3 Practice of driving When you drive S2 outdoor, please make assure you are skillful driving it from the perspective of safety. • Please wear comfortable leisure clothes and flat shoes to make body flexible. • Please practice driving S2 on open field till you are easy to get on the vehicle, forward, backward, turning, stop and get off the vehicle. • Please notice that the road is flat. • You could practice on different road conditions, you must slow down if you meet an unknown road condition, and • never let the S2 leave the road at any time. • S2 is an auxiliary transportation tool which is designed for flat road. When you drive it on uneven road, you should slow down. • Avoid driving S2 in dangerous places of persons and obstacles if you are not skillful with it. 7 .Instruction of battery The instruction includes charging method of S 2 how to maintain, notes of safety items and specification of battery. In order to assure the safety of you and others, prolong the shelf life as possible and improve the performance of battery, please use the battery according to the following operation. 7.1 Capacityofbattery When you find the light indicator of battery is red and sparkling, that means the capacity is insufficient, you are suggested to stop using. When the capacity is insufficient, S2 has no enough energy to drive you normally, the system will lift the bottom platform and prohibit the operator to continue using; if you insist on driving S2 in this case, then you are easy to get hurt, and the shelf life of battery will be affected. Do not use the battery in cases of: • Abnormal smell or overheat. • Spill of any substances. • Only if professional person could disassemble and maintain the battery. • Do not contact the substances that spill from the battery. • Kids and animals are forbidden to contact battery. Unplug the charger when installing the battery or before driving, it's dangerous to do anything related to battery when the battery is charging. • The battery contains dangerous substances, do not open the battery without authorization, do not add anything into the battery. • Charge the battery of S2 with the charging device only provided by Shenzhen Shenling vehicle Co., Ltd. • Battery of S2 is only used by permission of local law.

7 .2 P rocedure of charge • Make sure the charging dock is dry. • Plug the other end into chic-smart, and then plug one end of charger into city power (100v-240v; 50,60hz), make sure the green indicator of charger is on. • When the red indicator is on, that means charging is ongoing, otherwise check the cable connection is good or not. • When the indicator changes from red to green, that means charging is finished. Please stop charging at that time, long time charging will affect the shelf life of battery.
7 .3 Circumstance of high t em peratu re or I ow t em peratu re • The temperature of battery must be within the specific range described in the battery specification if the highest efficiency of S2 is wanted. • The temperature must be within the suggested range before charging and during charging. the charging efficiency is the higher when the temperature is closer to the suggested temperature; if the temperature is too high or too low, the charging time will be prolonged or the charger will not be fully charged.
