Instructions before operating 1. This product is a device to assist safe driving and shows images of rear camera through wireless connection when the gear is shifted into reverse. 2. This product can be connected to monitors or navigations to show images of rear camera. 3. Depends on the performance of monitors or navigations, images of reverse camera can be delayed When shifting into reverse. This kind of situation is not relevant to QDIS’S product quality. 4. As a wireless transmitter/receiver, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur by other wireless devices. 5. Images of rear camera may not display under certain environmental or operating situation. 6. It is required to drill some holes for wire connection. Please use caution when drilling holes. Otherwise, it may cause leaks. The limited warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by leaks. 7. This manual is subject to change without notice. 8. Cautions 1. Do not leave or use the product in direct sunlight or in a car heated by sunshine. 2. Do not bend or deform the product. 3. Do not disassemble or damage the product. 4. In case of using old or low picture quality monitors or navigations, picture quality may not be good. This kind of situation is not relevant to QDIS’S product quality. 5. In case of changing the location of rear camera, remember to adjust the camera angle before operating. 6. Connect cables as indicated on instructions when installing the product. Especially, make sure to connect a power cable and a video cable correctly. 7. Constantly check the surface of camera angle and keep it clean. 8. Do not expose to high humidity. Also, if the product is exposed to liquid, it may damage the product and it may not be repaired. 9. Use the product in temperatures between -20°C~+80°C, if possible. Exposing the product to extremely low or high temperatures may result in damage and malfunction. 10. Only use genuine products and accessories specified by the manufacturer. Warning Read all instructions before use. For your safety, the information in this manual must be followed to prevent from any risks. The company holds no liability for accidents or events caused by not following the instructions in the manual. 1. Do not use the damaged cable to reduce the risk of fire or electronic shock. 2. Leaks or improper connections may cause the risk of fire. Make sure that all the products are properly installed before turning on the product. 3. Do not excessively bend or pull on the power cable in order to reduce the risk of fire or electronic shock. 4. Do not handle the product with wet hands while connecting/disconnecting power cables in order to reduce the risk of electronic shock. 5. Do not use the product while driving. It may cause car accidents. 6. Do not install the product near any heat sources in order to prevent the risk of fire or electronic shock. 7. Do not deform or cut power cables. It may cause the damage to products and vehicles. Also, the risk of fire and electronic shock will be increased. 8. Install the product in a place where it doesn’t block driver’s view. 9. In case of not using it for long period, disconnect power cables from the product. All steps of installation should be done by well-trained specialists. How to install (Turn off the device before the installation) 1. Find a place to install a camera. 2. Find a place to install a bracket. 3. Tighten screws to fix the bracket . 4. Remove foreign materials on the surface. 8. Attach double-sided adhesive tape at the bottom of a transmitter. 9 Wireless Rear View Camera QㆍCAM TRUCK Wireless 7. How to install (Turn off the device before the installation) Performance of transmitters and receivers is affected by certain conditions such as the directions of two devices and the surrounding environment between them. When locating the place for two devices, avoid the place where it is surrounded by metal resources in order to maximize the reception. 9. Attach the transmitter on the surface. Top surface of transmitter should face the receiver and place two devices as close as possible. 10. Tighten screws to fix L-type brackets . 11. Fix the transmitter on the surface by using cable ties. 12. Fill gaps between the transmitter and the surface with a silicone sealant. 10 QㆍCAMRear Wireless TRUCK View Wireless Camera QㆍCAM TRUCK Wireless 7. How to install (Turn off the device before the installation) In case of connecting to a rear lamp cable, the rear image will be displayed when shifting into reverse. In case of connecting to a ACC cable, the rear image will be displayed while driving. However, we recommend to connect the transmitter power cable to the rear lamp cable considering the situation when it is required to pair the transmitter and the receiver. Otherwise, it is difficult to turn on and off the transmitter in case of pairing. 13. Detach a rear lamp connector. 14. Strip rear lamp & ground wires. 15. Rotate the receiver within 180 degree to find the position where the reception bars shows more than 3 bars on the monitor. ※Check the status of wireless connection displayed by the antenna bar at the top left corner of the monitor. How to install (Turn off the device before the installation) ※Rotate the receiver within 180 degree to find the position where the reception bars shows more than 3 bars on the monitor. 25. Reconnect the fuse. 26. Connect the extension cable to AV port of a Monitor. 27. Link the extension cable to the receiver RCA cable. 28. Check whether the rear image displays when shifting into reverse. 15 Wireless Rear View Camera QㆍCAM TRUCK Wireless 8. How to pair Transmitter and Receiver Caution : Pairing between the transmitter and the receiver is already completed before they are released. Please refrain from doing this task except special occasion. 1. Turn off the transmitter. Connect toggle switch to the receiver pairing connector. (※ it is possible to use a double-pole switch instead of the toggle switch.) 2. Turn on the monitor and the receiver. The monitor will show the following message for 2 seconds. “No video signal” 3. Before the message disappears, press the toggle switch for more than 5 seconds. Then, the monitor will show the new message of “Please Press Pair Key on Tx Side”. Also, it will start counting down from 30. 4. Remove the hand from the toggle switch. Moreover, turn on the transmitter and wait for pairing before it counts down to 0. 5. The monitor shows the rear camera image after it shows “Wait signal… Pair OK” message. Finally, pairing is complete. 16 Wireless Rear View Camera QㆍCAM TRUCK Wireless 9. Location of Rear View Camera installation The location would be varied depends on the car model. If there is any space to install the camera, user can install it anywhere. 1. Trouble shootings Q: No image displays after the message of ‘No Video Signal’. A: Check if the receiver is properly connected to the power. Check if the cables between the monitor and the receiver are properly linked. Q: No image displays after the message of ‘Wait Signal’. A: Check if the transmitter is properly connected to a ACC power or a rear lamp. Check the status of wireless connection displayed by the antenna bar at the top left corner of the monitor. When installing the devices, it should display least 3 reception bars on the monitor. Also, rotate the receiver within 180˚ in order to search for the best wireless connection between the transmitter and the receiver before attaching the receiver to the dashboard firmly. In addition, remove any obstacles that may influence on the wireless connection or install the transmitter/the receiver in other place where there are no obstacles Q: When the picture is distorted. A: Make sure that cable connections between the camera and the transmitter are correctly linked or replace the cable. Make sure that cable connections between the monitor and the receiver are correctly linked or replace the cable. Q: No image displays even though the antenna bar at the top left corner of the monitor is showing 3~4 antennas. A: Check the cable connections between the camera and the transmitter. Check if the camera power cable connection is properly installed. Q: When the transmitter and the receiver are not paired. A: Pairing is already completed when the devices are released from the factory. Except the special occasion, please refrain from pairing the transmitter to the receiver manually.
