Using the Xelio Tablet by Dick Evans www.rwevans.com
The Eyeglass in the top left opens the Google search on the Internet The microphone picture lets you talk instead of typing The 6 squares in the upper right open a window with all your installed apps On the bottom: The arrow to the left takes you back a screen The picture of the house brings you back to the home screen The 2 boxes show you a list of images of the last places you visited on the internet The little box to the far right shows how much battery you have left. By the way, you can use the tablet while ii is charging. The numbers are the current time (assuming you set it in the control panel for your time zone) Between the time and the battery you will see bars indicating you have an internet connection. The more bars the better the connection. If not showing, you net to go to settings and turn the WiFi ON.

Setting the time to turn off the display
Locate the Setting icon in your apps window (the 6 little squares in the upper right of the home page) Click to open the settings window:
Click Display and then Sleep to change the number of minutes with no activity that will turn the screen off. I suggest setting it for 30 minutes.

Turning ON WiFi
Locate the Setting icon in your apps window (the 6 little squares in the upper right of the home page) Click to open the settings window:
Tap to turn WiFi ON
A list of available networks will appear on the right. Locate the one you want to use and tap it. If it has not been set up yet you will get the next screen to enable you to enter the password to gain access to the wireless router.
5
Tap the blue line to the right of Password to open a keyboard and then enter the password. Note: if you check the box next to Show password you will see the actual characters instead of ****. When finished entering, click Connect and you should be on the internet. If not, your password was not correct for the connection. You will have to go back through these steps and click Forget so it does not try to use what you previously typed. Then you can get back to this screen and try again.
If connected you will see the WiFi icon to the right of the time on the home screen.
