Utility: 82C55 Test/Diagnostic Program. InstaCal is very good at what it does. It easily allows you to add and delete MCC devices, and provides 2 excellent methods for testing devices with analog inputs, and a great way to test the digital IO with out requiring an external signal source. However it doesn't provide you with a way to test the digital IO connections your real world signals. To help you with that, I've come up with a diagnostic program utility. It will help you test your digital IO connections with any MCC digital IO device that has an 82C55 parallel port interfact. For devices with more than one 82C55, you will only be able to test the first 82C55 though you can modify the program to access the others.
