V28R Installation Housing Setup Guide Unpack Everything Check that the following items are included in your box: - MagnaView V28R enclosure - Hardware kit - V28 Series Gimbal - V28R Installation Gimbal Setup Guide - Product Warranty card - Mounting template - Lens package (option) Important Safeguards Installation and servicing should be done by certified technicians to conform to all local codes and to maintain your warranty. Installation Conduit Plug CAUTION To minimize moisture leaking into the MagnaView V28R housing, position the enclosure with the conduit ponting down.Apply an appropriate sealant around the conduit connection. Your MagnaView V28R camera enclosure comes with a conduit plug pre-installed in the ½”conduit entry on the back.This plug may be removed and installed in the side 3/4” conduit entry (see Figure 1). Affix the mounting template (supplied) to the mounting surface (see Figure 2). Pre-drill four holes as indicated on the template, using the recommended hole size for the screws being used. 3. Drill out conduit hole, if required. The use of a CSA Certified/UL Listed Class 2 power adapter is required to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards. Your MagnaView camera is supplied with one of the three different termination PC boards mounted to the bottom of the housing.All connections are made here. See Figure 3 for the wiring option you have selected. Note For direct connections to the termination board, it is recommended that you route the cable using the cable clamp supplied to restrain the cable (see Figure 4).
