This solution is particularly suited to multi-storey and off-street surface car parks, serving all parking sectors such as; rail, hospitals, retail parks, supermarkets and shopping centres. The Varioflex system uses high perfomance technology and has a proven track record of reliability, offering: Remote access to system diagnostics, functions and data management Car park-based and remote updating of tariffs EXIT PROCEDURE The entry terminal displays the name of the car park and the current date and time by default. A configurable welcome message may be displayed instead of the name of the car park. As the vehicle approaches the exit terminal, it is detected by sensors, transforming it into active mode. It then displays a courtesy message asking the motorist to insert their exit ticket. Motorists who have paid at the payment station and had their ticket encoded accordingly, then insert it into the exit terminal. This then triggers the barriers to open, to allow the motorist to leave the car park. The entry terminal becomes active when it detects a vehicle and it then displays a courtesy message asking the motorist to take a ticket or insert their subscriber card. Once the entry terminal issues a ticket and it is taken, the barrier opens. Alarm management and customer assistance Remote management of the entry/exit function and payment Entry and exit ticket dispensing/accepting terminals Fully integrated ANPR (ticket matching, automatic subscriber control, pre-booking etc.) A control and management system that can be applied locally or remotely ENTRANCE PROCEDURE Varioflex with barriers supports the following functions: Choice of barriers Convenient choice of parking payment – can either pay via one of our parking terminals before you exit or via mobile phone – before, during or at the end of your parking period HOW IT WORKS Vehicle of Interest (Vol) alert PAYMENT PROCEDURE Before exiting the car park motorists must pay for their parking period via Mobile phone payment – Whoosh! – or by Parking terminal.
