Altitude
ALTI button: ■ Access to altitude functions
BIKE button: ■ Access to bike functions
Precise state-of-the-art altitude measurement VDO M4 and M6 models both feature barometric altitude measurement. Either model can handle two different start altitudes (e.g. home, holiday location etc.) to be selected ahead of a trip. The current altitude indicator is easily recalibrated by entering the current altitude or via the barometric air pressure. VDO has gone a long way towards altitude measurement and has been critically acclaimed in this field.
Totals
Accessing the totals The TOTALS are accessed in a menu loop separated from TRIP DATA to ensure that the display remains neat. The SET button opens the TOTALS menu. Users then press the BIKE button to scroll through the totals.

Set box AND TEST DEVICE
www.vdocyclecomputing.com
VDO tools – excellent service The new set box makes setting devices simpler than ever. The language, time and date are directly transferred from the set box. Wheel sizes can be set more quickly via the tyre table in the set box. If you turn the set box over, you have a complete test centre. Empty batteries are often the main cause of functional problems. You can now also use the set box to test batteries. All wireless transmitters can also be tested. The set box immediately shows if transmission has occurred. Even for wired brackets, the set box provides clear information about functionality.
