C. Unit is designed for indoor use only. D. Keep all liquids away from the Digital Video Encoder . E. Ensure environmental conditions meet factory specifications. F. Ensure unit is properly secured to a rack or shelf. Major shocks or jolts to the unit as a result of dropping it may cause damage to the sensitive electronics within the unit. G. Use the Digital Video Encoder in conjunction with an UPS if possible. H. Power down the unit before connecting and disconnecting accessories and peripherals. I. A manufacturer recommended HDD should be used for this device. TESTING A. Verify that the Digital Video Encoder is powered in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. B. Verify that all cables (power and coaxial) are properly and securely connected. C. Review video on attached monitors and Client Workstations as applicable. CLEANING A. Clean Digital Video Encoder in accordance with manufacturer recommended procedures. B. Remove all scraps and debris. MAINTENANCE A.
