Vector V36I SPECIFIERS GUIDE Overview Vector V36I Key Features IN-Ground Continuous Light Vector® V36I IPX8 IN-Ground profile IPX8 rated in-ground profile works with the V36G ground channel mounting system and incorporates a seamless edge-to-edge 8mm laminated OPX glass diffuser. V36I can be specified in standard or bespoke lengths and provides seamless linear joins for any required length. The invisible under-glass end cap design allows seamless long lengths in as many metres as required. OPX™ Diffuser ≤ 3447 lumens/m 88 CRI max 2600 - 5000K CCT 7/13/26/40 WM 24VDC IPX8 The OPX™ diffuser in seamless edge-to-edge design is tuned specifically to provide consistent linear optical diffusion without imaging of individual LEDs. Available in power ratings from 7W per metre to 40W per metre and CCTs of 2600K, 2900K, 3300K, 3800K, 5000K along with static colours and RGB options. High output and the ability to combine up to three LED colour temperatures sideby-side makes V36I a highly versatile product. Vector V36I Installation CLICK Vector V36I Drivers & Dimming Wiring V36I-07/13 can be installed in power-through configuration lengths up to 6 metres subject to maximum cable size and length, V36I-26 is up to 3 meters and V36I-40 up to 2 metres Longer lengths can easily be achieved by running a parallel feed as shown in the 9m example below. Its full operating range is 19.3 to 25.6 VDC. Start-voltage is defined as the voltage measured at the furthest cable point away from the driver. When calculating maximum cable size and length limits, installers must make their own checks to ensure that the minimum start voltage is correct as shown in the table below. Maximum cable size and distance should be adjusted if using a dimming interface as shown in the wiring example tables. Typical PWM interfaces can handle 5A allowing a maximum of 9m of V36I-13 or 16m of V36I-07 per interface. Dimming Control 24VDC Interface max. 2m Drivers Drivers must be of constant voltage type providing 24VDC power supply. Recommended minimum driver ratings are shown in the table above. Installation Notes 24VDC power supplies and dimming interfaces are often tested and verified to be EMI compliant with secondary cable lengths of up to 10m (shorter lengths on some devices). For cable lengths exceeding 10m, EMI emissions should be verified in the application. When EMI emissions exceed the allowed levels it may be possible to reduce them by using ferrite cores (not supplied). 24VDC cables should be shielded if longer than 10m total length. Recommended maximum cable lengths for dimmed circuits are based on a typical dimming interface voltage drop of 0.3V. Installers should check the specific voltage drop of the interface they are using and adjust cable length accordingly. *Recommended cable lengths shown are based on average resistance for typical copper solid core cables. Cable characteristics may vary acording to manufacturer, temperature, copper purity, connections etc. Installers must make their own checks to ensure that the minimum start voltage is correct. Testing and control of these specifications gives very accurate control of correlated colour temperatures (CCT). White Spectrum™ technology also allows us to offer our high colour rendering index rating of 88 CRI (Ra) as standard for 2600K products. Each 2600K Vector LED is ultra-fine binned from a defined x, y range bin area covering approximately 2 MacAdam steps. This is far smaller than the ANSI C78.377A Standard which equates to 7 MacAdam steps. This binning accuracy equates to a colour temperature precision of less than 2.0% tolerance giving approximately +/- 50K. White Spectrum™ is one of the leading global LED technologies. A typical warm white fine-bin from another manufacturer is typically at least 40% larger than Lumino’s White Spectrum™ ultra-fine binning.
