What do you use to power your effects pedals?
What do you prefer about the effects that you own compared to others that you have tried?
Is there anything you would like to change about the pedals you currently own (modifications)?
What are you open to changing about the system you have envisioned?

Are there any pedals or requirements that are not negotiable?
Do you require MIDI control or instant access to multiple pedals at once? No
Yes
Not Sure
Do you require the use of individual loops for some or each of your pedals? No
Yes
Not Sure
What capabilities do you require of your Vertex system? (check all that apply) Mono (Using the system with only one amplifier).
Stereo (Using the system with two amplifiers).
Y-Splitter/Tuner Out (circle one or both) (Splitting a mono signal [generally from an output buffer] out to two amplifiers OR splitting the input signal [generally from an input buffer] between a series of effects and a guitar tuner).
Wet/Dry or Wet/Dry/Wet (circle one or both) (Running DRY effects before the preamp [center], while having WET effects run after the preamp and into the power amp, feeding one [Wet/Dry] or two [Wet/Dry/Wet] speaker cabinets on the left and right of the dry [center] cabinet).
Break-Out Insert (An insert point to patch-in effects pedals off the pedalboard anywhere in the signal path. All insert points are normalized when unused, continuing the signal path as if it were not present).
Effects Loop (A selectable effects loop that can either route desired pedals into the send/return of your amplifier effects loop, or have pedals wired into the effects loop re-routed in series with all other pedals in front of an amplifier, especially for those without an effects loop).

Mute (A footswitch to mute all sound coming from the pedalboard allowing silent tuning. Generally this feature is combined with a tuner out to facilitate for silent tuning and/or instrument changes).
Master Bypass (A footswitch to completely bypass the pedalboard allowing the guitar to be routed directly to the amplifier with no effects in between. The pedalboard becomes completely passive and disconnected from all pedals).
